the other day we had a discussion about passing/assists in the context of Russell Westbrook vs. Derrick Rose.
then, today i find a nice blog that talks about the true value of assists. thought i’d share. the blog tries to weight assists… turns out LBJ is even better than we thought.

in that blog, there is another link to a blog about darren collison and his dimes. havent read that one yet, but i’m headed there now.
Not perfect. He needs to add all passes that lead to shots into the mix if he is to factor in shooting percentages. Nice idea, though.
