Mr.Knick 32ParticipantWho’s that potential sleeper team this year?
I have two.
Vanderbilt has all the tools to me to do some damage in the tournament. Jeffery Taylor is a explosive wing, AJ Ogilvy is a very good big and can cause issues inside and Jermaine Beal is good. I also like John Jenkins.
UTEP! This team has it all. Derrick Character is making a Renaissance and Randy Culpepper is explosive. Reminds me of a Sherron Collins type who can draw fouls and play well late.
Who are some of your teams?
Also- Can’t wait to be back in 2 weeks for good!

sammybuckeye13ParticipantCornell
– This might even seem cliched at this point, but I think Cornell is going to be incredibly dangerous. They’re one of the best shooting teams in the country, they have a 7-footer who can really play, and they fear no one.Louisville
– Seeing how they beat Syracuse twice, how can they not be considered a real threat? The Cardinals are extremely balanced, and have looked like a top 15 team in Big East play.Oklahoma State
– James Anderson is simply incredible, the type of player who can on any given night, like an NBA superstar, put his team on his shoulders and score however much is needed of him. The Cowboys have beaten Kansas, Kansas State, and Baylor twice, and are hitting their stride at the perfect point in the season.Cal
– Wouldn’t it be poetic if, after everyone’s spent all year mocking the PAC-10, if a PAC-10 team broke through and made a real statement in the tournament? Cal has certainly looked like a tournament team since it got healthy, going 13-5 in PAC-10 play, and have four players that can kill you.0 - Posted on: Sat, 03/06/2010 - 4:12pm #263678

JNixonParticipantI would be scared of Mizzou and that “40 Minutes of Hell” Full Court Press they run.
Oklahoma State with Anderson and their gimmicky schemes and their nice variety of bruisers down low and shooters on the perimeter.
Also, watch out for Florida State. Whoever they play against is going to have a world of trouble scoring the ball. They have an overwhelming amount of length and athleticism on their roster.

quinceyhodgesmizzo needs to change that name if they are using that.they are disrespecting the original team of the “40minutes of hell”

DanEboyParticipantCan’t give away any sleeper secrets, c’mon Haynes! There may be a contest a brewing here.
I will say that any Big East team in the tourney is ready for war after that conference schedule. I like Louisville and Marquette is the best shooting 3pt in the country, who knew that?
Butler is always dangerous but their conference doesn’t get them ready for a deep run.
Big Ten teams usually fare well and Michigan State will be ready to play. Draymond Green is a beast. I was really high on Pudue until Hummell went down. Wisconsin is also always a tough out. I know MSU is ranked 11th but I think they could get to the final 4

UKWildcat_11ParticipantI can see James Anderson for OK State just going off like Stephen Curry did a few years ago.

HandDownManDown13ParticipantI see Clemson getting a lower seed this year and having a good shot at an upset
I like Quincey giving va tech some props
I think if Memphis gets in they can do some things. Elliot Williams can really score it.
