This draft has a consensus top 2, beyond that is chaos. Last time there was this much clarity, Anthony Bennett was the #1 pick. Let’s hope things go better this time. I think it’s really going to depend on teams needs and where they are in the rebuild. That said, who do you think is the next best prospect? I’m sure there will be lots of different answers.

for its easily Jaylen Brown. People really talks not much about him maybe because he plays on west coast.

I mean if comparing his stats per Simmons’ and Ingram’s playing time, he gets around 19ppg 7rpg, he can do it all, is strong and super athletic, what more you need from the next slasher scorer wing allstar?

i agree with magic jordan it’ll depend on who is picking 3rd.if its new orleans brown might be the choice..hard to say which direction the suns go in.

i think people are sleeping on sabonis.im not saying he’ll go 3rd.but he could be 1 of the 5 best players from this draft..i think he could step in on day 1 and contribute…

yes Sabonis will the best white boy of this draft I think.

He has that K Love type of rebounding, like he knows where to be, and he is skilled and quicker than you think.

I’m not sure why Sabonis has fallen down NBADraftNets board since October to be honest. I think he’s played fantastic, is versatile, can shoot, rebound, pass. I would be surprised if he didn’t go in the top 10, and I think he deserves to go even higher. But this draft seems to have quite a few players that could fall anywhere within the 5-15 range depending on workouts and team needs.

I gave that example because its rear to have three white guys in top5 discussion. Poeltl, Bender and Ellenson.

And I honestly believe Sabonis can be the best of them all.

Of course it may be something with that we both Lithuanians

    Suns, Jaylen Brown any day.

With that pick from the wizards, i could see Baldwin.

    Huge hole at the 4.

    But 1 to 3….

    Bledsoe-Booker-Brown

    Benchers Baldwin-Knight-Warren.

Mamadou, do you think the suns might instead take Bender 3rd, since there is that hole at PF? or would you like us to take Brown 3rd and use the other 2 picks to move up and maybe get Ivan Rabb ? The suns have some options, but I guess it would depend on how Free agency goes

Rabb was the pick at 5-7, now at 3-4 it has to be Brown, or maybe Dunn(at 4)  trading one of the 2 lead guards for a legit PF….

I like your idea for Rabb, i would give our 3 later picks to get him at 8, he’s legit, he rebounds, he plays inside out, underrated footwork, soft hands, can really shoot it, mature, he’s pretty hidden in Cal, he could easily be a 17-10-2 frosh elsewhere with more touches.

Bender is not suited for the suns IMO, he’s too tall to play the 4 with 7’1 C like chandler and Len, and he’s not nba ready either(you ‘ll have to wait 3-5 years), that’s not where the nba is headed(very high ball), that’s not the suns historically.

If you have to lose and they will(with brown or bender), try to be entertaining, the shooting prowess of Booker paired with the slashing abilities of Brown is something to build on.

Bender is no Porzingis in his skillset as a really tall 4, he’s a project(18yo not 20yo).

Suns need some dynamic, autonomous players, even more without a true PG and no inside game at all.

        Give me Ingram…case solved..

I agree I really want Ingram! But I could live with brown I think the combo of him and Booker would be fun to watch for years to come. I’m not sold on bender at all. I’ve watched everything there is to watch and it just looks like he’s playing against grade school talent so idk about him. I wouldn’t mind pairing our other picks to move back into the top 10 to get rabb. I really want Ingram or brown.

I agree, it mostly depends on who has that 3rd pick when the draft starts. I can see some teams taking bender here but I can also see teams like the suns, the Celtics, or even the lakers taking Brown. Maybe the only team I see taking dunn might be the 6ers. They have front court depth with no real guards. As a suns fan I’d want the pick to be Brown. Dudes a moster.

Bender might be the 3rd best prospect in this draft, but with the teams that pick far from being known the safer guess is Heild right now is the 3rd best player in this draft for teams that are in the late lottery and win a top 3 pick, and the best guess for teams that are far far from contention is bender ,brown or poeltl.

my deep sleeper for late lottery to mid 1st  is Georgios Papagiannis .Greece Panathinaikos this kid is damn beast

Ive seen enough to be convinced that he will be a top-5 SG someday.

Hes criminally under rated in my opinion…

He always had been, always "hidden" with the 2 other guards….

Could have been a 22-5-5 frosh without one of them, making him the automatic 3rd men in the draft,

He’s the perfect fit for the nuggets, but the he won’t pass the wolves at 5, nice young nucleus Murray-Lavine-Wiggins-Towns-Dieng.

At 3, celts or suns have a lot of guards, not much SF-PF.

I think it’s whoever has the best workout. For some reason, these teams put more stock in workouts than how the players actually perform throughout their college careers.

All these guys have questions after the top-2. If Jaylen Brown establishes a better shot, I could see him. I sort of see him like Winslow last year.

I would say Jaylen Brown though.

Its actually the interviews not the workouts per say usualy that separate one from another with simliar skillsets.

when you are talking proto size and athleticism for the nba anyway. the workouts are more for the prospects who have something to prove either post injuryt or to amplify the dedication to work ethic…damion lillard for example. in addition to the interview though so they both factor in.
