prophetmeirParticipantPlay Gm for your team who would you want
Demar D – 23 4 4
Khris M- 17-4-4 Month of January 22 pg
Think this is a hard one for me, Demar is the cant miss prospect which most on here would choose. But Khris does so much for a ball club, he plays pick and roll great. Very unselfish, solid defender and knock down shooter. He is not the go to guy on his team that boast alot of talent.

bmac697ParticipantThats a tough question, I think it depends on what your team needs are. If your looking for a more primary scoring option then go with Derozan. If your looking for a more complementary player who can complement that players you already have then Middleton would be my choice.
Im from Canada so I guess im biased, but id pick Derozan overall. I respect the amount of work both players have put in over the years as they both have been progressing every year but overall I think Derozan would be my top choice, but its very close

Agree completely.
To use a couple Western conference teams that are on the verge of getting into the playoffs, as examples.
The Sacramento Kings would probably benefit more from Middleton, his shooting and ability to play off the ball would compliment their other players like Cousins, Gay and Rondo.
The Utah Jazz on the other hand would probably prefer Derozan. Him and Hayward on the wings would give them a couple top scoring options to go along with Favors and Gobert down low.

bmac697ParticipantExactly, I feel Both Sac and Utah are just one player away from being legit playoff contenders.
I think both teams have tried to address those needs, with Sac drafting Maclemore and staukus and utah drafting Burks. Only problem Sacs guys havent turned out as planned and Burks is just injured too often to make an impact.
I like what utah has been able to do in regards to adding talent, but there one superstar away from taking that next step. I love Hayward but he isnt your number option, A derozan and him would work, but realisticly I only see him leaving for Lakers, Brooklyn or resign with raptors which in all likley hood will happen.

SlickBouncePassParticipantMiddleton does more for a basketball team. He’s a good scorer but he’s not someone you’d go to to rely to score at the end of games.
Neither wold you Derozan though. Derozan jumps out because of his athleticism, but he doesn’t play within a system like Middleton.
I posted that Jerry West thing for areason. You amass players that play within a system and contribute. Derozan might have athleticism that stands out, but he’s a tweener, a tweener between a star and a role player, and sometimes those players are hard to fit into a system.
I would take Middleton irrespective of the team, because he fits a role.
Derozan is not a #1, nor is he a #2, he’s a good #3, but won’t get paid like a #3, so he’s not really a #3 like an Iguodala was supposedly a #3, only Draymond is the perfect #3 on GSW.
Thats why I said, Draymond does more for GSW than Antthony Davis would anyday. Draymond is a perfect #3 on that team. Anthony Davis becoming a #2 option on that team would ruin the perfect chemistry that they already have. You need to make a well oiled machine as a GM, so I’d take Middleton.

reynolds07ParticipantDerozan is more of a proven scorer and player over the last five years and would rather spend money on somebody who’s being doing well in the league more consistently for a longer period of time. Bucks have also been reallys struggling this year on both sides of the ball and while middleton hasn;t played bad he hasn’t stepped up and one games for them so i’d be more willing to go with derozan.
