nthegoodlifeParticipantnow. I wasn’t big on Melo, but he showed me something in the playoffs this year. However, Granger lost two teeth in a game and came back in. You have to love that. I’d prolly say Granger, knowing that he’ll always play hard.

MrCrayola20ParticipantYeah granger scored more but he did it on a losing team where as Carmelo toned his game down for the better of the team.

D_LegendParticipantCarmelo’s ability to put the ball in the hole is unmatched, and he is a great rebounder. He is proven to beable to take his game to the next level, while granger is yet to be tested

kong47272ParticipantCarmelo
If Melo was on the Pacer’s he would have averaged more than Granger, like MrCrayola20 said the Pacer’s asked Granger to do everything while Melo was on a team with a lot more help and people to share with.

Chicago1980ParticipantCarmelo is the better player to me he rebounds well for his position he finishes he can score at will i like granger but he is more of a jump shooter to me.

marcusfizer21ParticipantThe topic question is WHO WOULD YOU TAKE, MELO or GRANGER?
To me, I would go to Danny Granger… I am not basing it on the skill level because if I would have based it on there, I will take Carmelo hands down… But the fact that the attitude of DG is something that I based my decision upon… Carmelo has been arrested, suspended and criticized because of his off-court antics and to me, it would be a shame on an organization who seeks hard to improve the image of their franchise. Danny Granger has been the guy I admired because he really reminded me of a 25 year old Scottie Pippen… Danny is humble and respectful… I never see him brawl with anybody nor getting arrested for lame reasons…That is why I chose Granger.

adamscbParticipantok, if we’re not basing this around skill, then i’d take my three year old niece over carmelo anthony any day. why compare two players if you’re not comparing their skill sets?

Chilbert arenasParticipantIn 2011 playoffs (both lost 1st round) Carmelo beats Granger in almost every category except FG%. But remember that Chauncy went down in game one and Amare was hurt as well so Melo had to try to carry the team. Also Carmelo has much better ball handling skills. Not a fan of Melo and I like Grangers demeanor but I’d still have to take Anthony.
