I would take Rose for the future but I understand why to go Harris.

Rose is not a top NBA playmaker or late game shooter yet.

Harris for the fact that he can run the point and he is a better shooter than Rose.

I’m talking about like i’ll take Harris now untill I see Rose at a point where he’ll be better. Which won’t take long cause i know he’ll probably be better. But for now Harris and nothing is wrong with him, he’s a good player and will get better.

    Can someone help me here?

I think the Bulls may be a dissapointment next season. What do you think? I think missing Gordon will hurt alot.

I think that Rose will be the better defender than Harris, and as far as missing Gordon, I think that during the playoffs Ben Gordon proved that he deserves a good payday, and the Pistons gave it to him. The Bulls will be missing 20PPG, regardless if its off the bench or starting.

Bulls Points are going to come from john salmons…..but since he is inconsistent they won’t have a good year, and will miss gordon

It could, but I don’t think that it will happen. Unless Derrick Rose goes into a sophomore slump, which I doubt he will, then and only then will the Bulls miss the playoffs.

Derrick Rose will carry them. He wont let them be a disappointment. Harris may score more, but he isnt the winner Rose is and you have to appreciate that. Also you have to remember Thomas and Noah are improving, Luol Deng is returning from injury, and James Johnson will contribute so they will more than make up for the loss of Gordon and they have defenders. Ben Gordon was not a defender. So I think its addition by subtraction.

hmmmmm, Rondo or Rose? that’s a tossup, you can say Rondo because he knows what it takes to win and lead a team, and he could do everything as far as score, assit and reb. ( a triple doub. PG )
or you can say Rose because of his tremendous potential and youth

I never said that Rose couldn’t run the point. And as far as Harris’ jumper as a rook, it was better than Rose’s right now. Plus Harris didn’t get the chance to develop as fast as Rose because he was a rookie on the bench. Rose was the starter from day one. They really are similar come to think of it, game wise and the way they get people involved in the offense, but Harris is a better shooter than Rose.

But Rondo has that same potential and youth, he is a little older but he’s a young guy who still can get better.

Why will the Bulls get so much worse losing Gordon? Luel Deng will be back so you replace basically everything you lost. Plus James Johnson will will be alright. If they got worse, it’s by a very slim margin.

if this is a who is more likely to get PWNed then im going with harris. but the better basketball player is derrick rose. derrick rose put his team on his back and led them to the playoffs

Derrick Rose didn’t LEAD his team to the playoffs. Ben Gordon was twice as good as Rose. Not saying Rose isn’t good but he’s not leading his team to the playoffs…Once he develops a jumper and plays consistently then he’s better than Harris. As of now I’ll take the 20 and 9 over the 16 and 6 guy who’s the 2nd best player on his team…

    That’s what i wa ssaying.

I would not be shocked if the Bulls missed the playoffs because they lack a late game shooter. And Rose is not a true playmaker yet, he is more of a scoring point right now

Sorry bout’ that I meant to say 7 but put 9. If you honestly believe that at this point in their careers Rose is better than Harris than you are whack bro. Harris is a better shooter, ball handler, true pg, and even better at being the Best player on his team. He even outshined Carter. Rose couldn’t outshine Gordon. I’m taking Harris right now over Rose anytime.

Next year… Harris Long term… Rose

I think Rose will slump a little next year, though it won’t be as much his fault as it will be the teams fault. Rose is a solid playmaker and has experienced the pressure of being the go to guy throughout his career, but I still think he takes a small step back next season.

Gordon was the dynamic scorer for the Bulls whether it was off the bench or as a starter, now that role falls upon Rose full time. Sure Deng is healthy and he can shoot, and Salmons can score, but the weight of the team is certainly on Rose now.

Deng is an injury risk, and Salmons has never been that consistent, so Rose may find himself as a playmaker on a team with no one to make the plays for… kind of like Wade not long ago.
