Who would win? (Every player in the prime of that Decade)

    All 2000’s
    C – Shaquille O’Neal
    PF – Tim Duncan
    SF – Lebron James
    SG – Kobe Bryant
    PG – Jason Kidd

    All 90’s
    C – Hakeem Olajuwan
    PF – Karl Malone
    SF – Scottie Pippen
    SG – Michael Jordan
    PG – John Stockton

    All 80’s
    C – Kareem
    PF- Larry Bird
    SF – Julius Erving
    G – Isiah Thomas
    G – Magic Johnson

I know some people would have Dominique, Clyde, ext. But for argumentssake…….

Wow, Pippen wasn’t the best SF in the 90’s??! 6 rings, nba top 50 player, I find it funny u couldn’t give me a better alternative. Your right, Dr. J had his best years in the 70’s, but he won a tittle in the 80’s and I would take him in that decade over Dominique. Plus i don’t have an all 70’s team listed.

If you watched any celtics games in the 80’s, you would know that bird started at the 4 with Mchale as the 6th man.

Anyway, these are damn good players. And for arguments sake who would win, not who should be on the teams….

90’s would win because they would mesh together as a team better. Every one on that team compliment each other and there different style of play.

My vote would be for the 80’s i think because its the most versatile-Kareem can play 4/5, Bird-3/4 maybe 2, Erving 1-3, Isiah1-2, and Magic has played every position at one time in his career also 60’s and 70’s teams should be formed with Wilt,Russel,Pistol Pete,Cousy,Oscar Robertson, etc…

I would honestly have to count the 80’s out. Magic, Bird and Erving were all poor defensively, and Isiah would be overpowered as a two. Kareem was the only good defender, but he would’nt shut down a prime Shaq or Olajuwon. Just too many defensive liabilities for the 80’s to win.

As for 90’s vs 2000’s, it is darn near a toss up. Really hard to say. But I guess I’ll take 2000’s just because I think LeBron would be way better then Pippen and a prime Duncan was slightly better the Malone.

    I agree Woo, I’d get the 90’s

2 different pairs of players who played together throughout their careers. Maybe not the most athletic team, but would have the best half court offense and defense.

Imagine the options for half court sets… Triangle offense with Pippen and jordan, high pick and roll with stockton and malone, and if all else fails, drop it down to Hakeem. You also have 4 of the best defensive players of all time for their positions

    And MJ in the clutch

90s is stack with a lot of hof, top 50 players. 2000 though is the more athletic class. Tough choice but I have to choose 2000s.

The 90’s would take it. That team would gel perfectly. The ultimate pg in John Stockton with his pick-n-roll team mate Karl Malone. Pippen was a great defender and could defend both LeBron and Dr.J/Larry Bird. Hakeem was a beast down low and well this team does have Michael Jordan. 80’s and 2000’s would be close. But I think the Magic-Kareem combination would better the Kobe-Shaq duo. Tim Duncan vs. Larry Bird would be a mismatch for both of these guys but Larry Bird would just shoot 3’s over Duncan or go right past him while Bird would at least put up a fight in the post. Isiah Thomas is smaller than Kidd but Thomas is better in just about every skill. Dr.J and LeBron is a nice match up. In the end 80’s would win.

    1st- 90’s
    2nd- 80’s
    3rd- 00’s

Instead of duncan you should Kg heir. He was just as good as duncan and would be a better match overall, he could guard bird anywhere on the court and bird would have a hard time guarding garnett becuz he is so much quicker longer and more athletic, lebron james would kill pippen and dr.j like seriously its not even close hes unguardable same goes for jordan but in the end it has to be the 0000’s just based on athleticism with kidd leadin that break every singe person would be a threat on the fast break.

def 90’s the perfectly built team
80’s would win bc magic would kill kidd in every aspect of the game. You can play 2-3 match up and easily shut down lbj from driving.
