RUDEBOY_ParticipantThe Knicks worked out Rasheed Wallace over the weekend..
The Grizzlies are rumored to be looking at Micheal Redd..But it might be after their new owner takes over..
Derek Fisher has been working out at the Lakers facility..Word is he wants to play for them..But they cant sign him until March…..I think he might be willing to wait until then…..Fisher turned down the Bulls earlier this summer..Becuz he didnt want to be the 3rd string point guard when Rose returns….

CodySLCParticipantI dont know why the Lakers would want Fish. They already have Nash, Duhon, Blake, Goudelock, and Morris at pg.
I hear L.A. is looking at Barbosa. If they don’t sign him im sure some team will. I think he’s probably the best free agent left.

RockGAGAEWAWWParticipantSo while Gibson looks to improve and play a bigger role as Chicago’s unquestioned sixth man this year, he’ll do so either as an imminent restricted free agent or as a re-upped veteran who will have the benefit of knowing his future with the organization.

RockGAGAEWAWWParticipantMayberry writes: “So not only did dude not show up to his first day on the job (media day), but he also skipped the first team flight and essentially said “Nah, I’m good” to the first day of practice.”

RockGAGAEWAWWParticipant“Don’t show any pain… rub some dirt on it… don’t ever show any weakness.” These are the creeds that those that spend their days inside locker rooms for a living are forced to subscribe to. It’s why for years countless NFL players ran back onto the field despite still feeling the effects of a concussion. And possibly why many of those same players refused to seek professional help after the subsequent brain injuries induced depression. “Real men don’t see shrinks…” right?

RockGAGAEWAWWParticipantHowever, ignorance is no excuse for making others feel marginalized or ostracized. And that is why we need to confront these antiquated ideas and sentiments when we see them expressed, which is what drove me to write this column.
