royk927Participantthey only have a sI think rileysecond rounder i see them going point guard. i see them targeting either Nolan Smith, darius morris, shelvin mack, andrew Gouldelock, or Josh selby ( but i doubt a team lets him slip out of the first round. of these guys im thinking Gouldelock or Smith. Gouldelock can shoot ( see his youtube footage). In a sense Miami doesnt need a playmacker as they have lebron and wade who dominate the ball so this kid fits into what they want to do let wade and lebron create shot oppurtunities for teammates. Smith is a tough kid with a high basketball IQ. (i dislike him cause he went to duke but i could see him fitting as well. What are some other options for them.

Here is an article I wrote about the direction they could go. I think they most likely target a point guard. Josh Selby is another option. I also know that they have Jordan Williams, Keith Benson, Jimmy Butler coming in for workouts. They could go big, but there is more value at the guard spot.

gatorheelsParticipantI would think Keith Benson & Jeremy Tyler will be high on the Heat’s wish list. However, I’m not sure either one of those players is going to be on the board by the time the Heat pick. If both those bigs are gone than Miami will probably target a PG such as Nolan Smith, Norris Cole, or Charles Jenkins. Shumpert would be a good option too but the way things are looking he may be off the board.

Tim49461ParticipantI agree with Gatorheels.
Currently Tyler and Benson could both be there. If both are there they have to take Tyler he is a project but so is every other big on their roster. And he provides height and length they want at that spot.
If they are not there
Nolan Smith is a perfet fit for them. It is basically Mario Chalmers 2.0 but i see Smith a better jumpshot and more PG skills to be honest. I dont want to hear Smith is a scorer because his role at Duke was to score along with get everyone involved once Kyrie went down.
Which ever one happens. I would give the Heat a B+ for this draft.

aamir543ParticipantYou used the wrong form of "Their, There or They’re" If you are using the word to show that someone posesses something, than you use "Their".

Tim49461Participant1. Who are you talking to Aamir543?
2. Does it really matter you understood what he was saying enough to correct whoever.
