The Lakers are trying to trade guard Sasha Vujacic along with a future first-round pick in order to get his salary off the books, according to sources.

Brian Windhorst of the Cleveland Plain Dealer writes that Los Angeles tried to move Vujacic for the non-guaranteed contract of Delonte West before the Cavaliers sent him to the Timberwolves earlier this week.

He has a 5 million dollar expiring contract. Add a 1st round pick for that? He’s a good shooter, I hope NY picks him up….

    Do you think anyone bites?

You just want the Knicks to get him because he comes with a 1st-round pick since NY doesn’t have any 1st-round picks until 2020. lol

Well it comes with Sasha Vujacic, so it’s actually $5.5 million.

According to this logic, when a trade involves more than one person/chip, the other player or pick is ‘free’ … no, it’s part of the trade.

I like how were being technical now.

Sasha will be a FA next season. You pretty much getting a 1st rounder for nothing. There willing to get rid of him for nothing…

its basically buying a pick that will be somewhere between 25-30 for 5.5 million dollars. Sasha can actually help some teams off the bench. But this move would allow the lakers to resign shannon brown wich would mean more then a late first rounder.
