Assuming the mocks play true, who would you take at #12?:

    Evans
    Williams
    Henderson
    Curry
    Blair
    Clark

    ????

I’m thinking Charlotte takes Gerald if he’s there, just have that feeling.

This is tricky spot but i think they should take Earl Clark or Tyreke Evans if he is thier but if Wayne Ellington is thier take him.

Evans would be good. I like Clark but don’t know how he would fit with Crash and Diaw already on the roster.

    My big board is:

    Harden
    Griffin
    Williams
    Evans
    Henderson
    DeRozan
    Holiday
    Blair
    Curry

If Evans is there, they should take him.

But if not, they should take Ellington. We need a shooter, and he’s the best one that will still be on the board.

I know Henderson is a popular preference here, but I just don’t see it. He can’t hit an NBA three. He’s very fast, a good defender, slashes well and has a very good pull-up jumper from 12-15 feet… but we need SHOOTING, and he ain’t got that.

It’s unfortunate that Harden will be gone. Now that we know he has SF length, he should be a lock to be an NBA starter for many years at one of the Wing positions–with almost zero bust potential.

Clark IS another Combo F like Rad and Diaw, but we can still use a versatile player who creates matchup problems. We can get away with any two of those three playing together at anytime anyway. Maybe even all 3 together against a small lineup. Besides, Clark could be slotted in the “empty” backup PF spot. (Sorry, Sean May and Alexis Ajinca)

I like Blair’s length/bulk, and I think monster rebounding numbers in the Big East translate to good rebounding in the NBA. He’s another candidate for the needed backup PF if we don’t go the SG route. Looking at the history of the 12th pick, we should be happy with a player who simply makes an NBA rotation. That said, we need some assurances on the health of Blair’s knees.

Just say no to the latest mid-major darling Stephen Curry. He has no length or physical presence to guard SG’s and suspect speed/agility to stop PG’s. He doesn’t fit here, unless we say bye bye to Felton or Augustin.

It’d be a miracle if Evans or DeRozan is still there at 12.

I haven’t watched much of T-Williams. It’s just hard to get excited about adding a defensive specialist to Felton and Wallace. There’s not enough sound shooting in that mix. Maybe the same could be said about adding Henderson.

dont forget that D.J. shot over 40% form three this season and can play the point if needed. Ithink only people left that they will consider are henderson, clark, blair, and holiday

but i believe some sort of trade needs to happen, i honestly believe felton is the point of the future for this team with his and emeka’s pick and roll is game is one the top in the game. However, sayin this I believe the team needs to package the 12 pick with DJ and make some sort of trade to fill the need for a reliable SG or C for the future. The team needs a late 1st round pick to draft patty mills(who in my opinion is a better version of a point that DJ is.) and draft danny green or other top level picks with the two 2nd round picks. There is nothing there at the 12 pick that can help the bobcats. They need to make a serious move at a talented SG. What do yall think?

I can’t picture them taking Henderson because Bell is a really good defender and they have him. I think they could use Blair and his toughness/rebounding down low. It would take a little pressure off Okafor and allow him to use more energy on offense and such. Blair is a legit NBA rebounder if nothing else.

Now it’s looking like T-Williams or Henderson. I gotta say, T-Williams has grown on me. His versatility might allow Charlotte to trade a SF or even a PG for some valuable scoring.

If Evans is there, they should take him.
