Timberwolves in my eyes are a few players from having a break out season….some players that i think they should pick up in the draft…#1 Kyrie Irving…..obviously Jonny Flynn is not the answer…to be honest i hate watching the guy play. With Kyrie, i personally think he will be the next great point guard in the league (NEXT CHRIS PAUL)…with kyrie he has the shooting ability and scoring skills our point guards dont possess. He also has the poise and leadership skills that might be able to lead us to wins in close game situations…i swear i watched about 10 games this year that we lost in the 4th quarter!!! ughhhh!!!!!!!!! Next on my wish list is Enes Kanter…I dont really know much about this guy but from the things i heard he can shoot outside and can really stretch out the defense…also he is a rebounding machine, with him and K-Love down low we could have the most feared front court in the league…but i’m not so high on the young turkish sensation for all we know he could stay with his club team for 2 years (inside joke…thanks ricky)…and with Kyrie coming we would trade Rubio for a proven shooting guard or a proven center. This does sound exciting to think about..but however, the twolves are known for getting screwed the the nba draft lottery…if we dont get the #2 pick and drop to #3,4,5…we would go for Harrison Barnes…I dont necessarily like this pick but he shows great promise…he will be a wing the can knock down the 3 and a scorer, but what separates him from a Wes Johnson or a Martell Webster?? with the #18 pick twolves recieve from the Grizzlies…i would love to see them pick up Kemba Walker…Kemba is a proven scorer and competitor…quick as a fricken cheetah on a sugar rush…this guy could be the steal of the draft and would starting point for the twolves…depending on the Rubio situation if we decide to trade his rights or keep him…i personally would like him in a twolves uniform…i mean we have been waiting for 2 years now the least he could do is play in a twolves uniform.

The timberwolves shouldnt take anybody they should trade the pick for veteran help or a team looking to unload an unhapy superstat i.e The Hornets or etc….they dont need more rookies and none of these players seem like impact players…they need a veteran to intice rubio to come over maybe trade the pick and darko for marc gasol tho far fetched it would help them alot

Kanter/Love would be horrible on defense, Minnesota is never going to win without defense. I think Kyrie is the obvious choice if he’s there but if not I wouldn’t be surprised if they went with Jonas.

For every lottery projected player in this draft the timberwolves have the equivaleant or slightly worse….

    Kemba walker- johnny flynn

    harrison barnes-wes johnson

    kyrie- rubio/flynn

    sulliginger-kevion love

    derrick williams-beasely

    perry jones- a.randolph

kanter worst case is darko but he hasnt played ball in 2 years and its not like hes some bball prodigy

    trade the pic!

There is no one in this draft who can make minnesota a winner next year they need one of there players to mature to a superstar or draft a franchise changin player Kyrie is closes because that’s minnesotas biggest problem but if rubio comes they might not need kyrie so its a toss up.

A.Randolph is showin signs of life since he been getting playing time…..And perry jones wasnt dominant in high school, or college i dont see him dominating in the NBA. hes not nearly the defender randolph is so i dont see where he fits…and you cant play him with beasely and love cuz theyd give up a lay up drill they played zone at baylor and he isnt much of a man defender…i see him challenging amir johnson for Fouls per game leader

if i had a choice to pick between Rubio or Irving…i would pick Kyrie anyday cuz rubio doesnt have a solid reliable jumpshot kyrie has and the Twolves need a scoring guard…and Rubio doesnt necessarily fit that role…however, rubio is a true point and a very good defender which the twolves need desperately

Kyrie Irving, or try to trade the pick- I’d try to get their pick for next year back from the Clips. It’s not like anyone from this year’s draft (other than possibly Irving) would help them right away anyways…

how about concentrating on getting a new gm(prichard), new coach or just a new play system. Then don’t use draft picks on the same positions. First it was pg, then fowards, this year  maybe center! I would take kyrie irivng and trade rubio, and use flynn as backup

I know that one year they had 4 picks in the first and took 3 PGS. . then trading Lawson to the Nuggets.  They should have drafted three or four different position players.   Although with this draft I do feel that Irving is the right choice with the first pick that is if he isn’t gone.   I think that Irving will be the best PG that T-Wolves have had since Sam Cassell.  I feel that maybe I should be or some of you fans should be a GM for T-Wolves.  I should start a facebook page about this.  This team should have already been close to playoff contention or already there by now.  I heard that the Mavs owner would like to get Rubio.  So maybe somehow the T-Wolves could get back maybe Jason Terry or Shawn Marion.
