canadabasketballisrisingParticipantIf this were to be a realistic team, say if you were to draft on an nba 2K game… then mine would look like this, with the first pick:
1. Payton (or D. Collison if gone); defensive pg, with lots of potential, can get to the rim to collapse d. (3rd pick)
2. Korver: shooter for spacing to ease pressure of James; third option. (4th pick)
3. James: first scoring option and defensive stopper (1rst pick)
4. Mirotic: spacing big, who can also rebound. (6th pick)
5. P. Gasol: second option; post presence, decent rim protector. (2nd pick)
With I. Thomas, or L. Williams if gone; off the bench… (5th pick)

haysoos2uParticipantWall- best defender at the position, great vision and ability to push the ball
Wiggins- the boy has "bunnies", very good defender at 20 yrs old, skill set and mindset are evolving nicely
Kawhi Leonard- quiet assassin who can be any teams "super" glue guy. Such an invaluable asset that can guard 1 through 4
Anthony Davis- imo, the best player in the NBA.. what can this young not do? His jumpsuit makes him a mismatch against anyone. This monster can guard 1 through 5… smh.. Work ethic meets talent meets desire..
Marcin Gortat- very underrated man defender who can score from both blocks and can hit the mid-range jumper.

LA12ParticipantMike Conley- Great defender and knows just how to get the ball to whoever needs it
Wesley Matthews- 3 and D guy who doesn’t need the ball in his hands to make plays. Knows how to play off others and get open for his shot. Also could create his own shot here and there and plays with passion.
Demmare Carrol- More 3 and D action.
Anthony Davis- No explanation needed.
Marc Gasol- Uber talent at the center position. So many all around skills down low, I don’t know if we’ve seen a center with his type of skill in a while. Has almost no weakness.
This would obviously be a team that does a majority of its work from the post and from the 3 point line. Davis and Gasol are both good enough passers to find the open shooter and I think they would have some great chemistry down low. Conley can get the big guys down low their touches, or drive and kick to the shooters he has on the wings. Also, good luck scoring on this lineup.

Ewalton23ParticipantThis Would be my Theoretical 5 Players Based on Current NBA Rosters. Playing an Up tempo Style and spreading the floor on offense.
PG-Stephen Curry- The best pure shooter and passer in the game Can play with the ball in his hands or without it.
SG-Jimmy Butler- A more than adequate offensive player based on last years numbers. To win you have to be able to stop people and Butler may be the best on the perimeter.
SF-Kevin Durant- With the size of Durant coupled with his ability to score in any way possible on offense it would seem him and Butler could score with, or shut down any perimeter duo in the game.
PF-Derrick Favors- Favors brings the ability to be a top level post defender while also being effective on offense without a ton of touches.
PF-Blake Griffin- Griffin brings the power to this lineup and gives you a true go-to player inside. His ability to rebound and finish is known, but what makes this a difficult matchup is Griffin’s newfound ability to knock down the 17-ft jumper and versatility he can play with as evidenced in the Houston series.
Steph,Durant and Blake as your “Big 3” Offensive options and Butler and Favors as your glue guys that defend and take pressure off the other guys would be tough to beat. Everyone in this lineup can run and Durant, Butler and Griffin can all handle the ball some though none is considered “ball dominant” Defensively this squad gives everyone major problems due to 3 6’10 guys that can all move their feet block shots and rebound. Not to mention Jimmy Butler harassing your best perimeter player and Steph showed in the Finals he won’t kill you on D.
