cycloParticipantI’m talking a projected 2nd rounder who you think will make teams regret not taking him.
Don’t tell me it’s Eric Maynor because he’s already projected in the mid 1st.

canesboy6ParticipantThat Jerome Mcneal Fella is pretty good. Danny Brown from UNC. Maybe Tyrone Rice.

los507ParticipantG.Vazquez is going to be the next Sessions I believe he’s the type of player that will probably be a better pro than college player. He and Calathes are the type of guards that will succeed on the next level because they have a lot of skill and play with effort. being able to play both spots in the backcourt is a plus and will garner them additional playing time.Vazquez is a good ball handler and play maker and if the Lakers some how get as projected they should be wearing a mask when they make that pick because he would be an absolute steal. He would be the perfect heir apparent to D.Fisher probably better than Farmar because the Zen master likes big point guards

A. StockThere’s No Such Player As Ryan Sessions. I Think You Meant Ramon Sessions…

jrfloresssParticipantRyan Sessions? Danny Brown? Tyrone Rice? I dont think Ive ever heard of any of them lol.. but my best bet for a 2nd round gem would be Danny GREEN of North Carolina. He has been my favorite college basketball player ever since he was a freshman and he definately doesnt get the love he deserves. He brings the kind of intangibles that each contender team needs, and if put in the right situation Danny could make a teams rotation just because of his solid defense. His ability to shoot the 3 ball, rebound and his high basketball IQ only help his case. He reminds of a smaller version of Shane Battier, who was drafted in the lottery when he came out for the draft. Like Battier he may not produce great numbers in the NBA, but they are the type of players where their play cannot be appreciated by the numbers. They do so many little things that help teams win games and thats why I believe many teams will regret not taking Danny earlier in the draft. Im not saying he will be a 2nd round pick, because I believe once the combine starts his stock will rise and have a chance of getting drated in the late 1st round to a contending team (ie. Lakers, Cavs, San Antonio) ; but if he is, look for Danny to one of the better rookies in next years draft class.

bobbygillerhahahaha geat post canesboy, i love it! By the way you wouldnt happen to be a UM student/ alum would you? I go to UM right now. Oh and for the post, hmmm I’m not really sure thats a tough one to predict. Sessions in an interesting story, he’s shown flashes of brilliance with the Milwaukee but quiet honestly was never anything special in college at Nevada I mean he averaged 8.8 points/ game during his 3 year career there.

cycloParticipantI mean Ramon Sessions.
Sorry about that. I knew someone named Ryan Sessions and got the names mixed up.

don042488ParticipantBaylor’s Curtis Jerrells should be steal in the second round. I think he has the chance to pan out into a decent player.

jorrye24Marcus Thornton is the truth.Did anybody see that game last night?!?!? He will be (like don said 2 me earlier) a willie green type player, a scorer off the bench. He might be develop into a tough on ball defender because he shows intensity and long arms. I really had doubts about lsu until last night, but man…him and temple, and tasmin mitchell, they are realllll impressive. I think they will be an elite 8 team, mark my words!

deuce4offA.J. Price will go somewhere from 28-36 and end up starting for whoever is wise enough to draft him. Who are those three impostors mentioned earlier?

cycloParticipantI agree. It could be Curtis Jerrells.
He has the body 6-1 195 athleticism and skills necessary to be a solid PG in the NBA.

Adam GanelesParticipantI’ll go with Brandon Ewing..

edoom06ParticipantJerry West said in an interview a long time ago “never under estimate the value of a true shooter”. Vaden has decent size and is one of those true catch and shoot guys with deep range (coming off of a screen and catching and shooting a good jump shot is one of the tougher skills in basketball). His stinker against Memphis not withstanding (0 for everything he shot)

usfballerParticipantGarrett Temple may be more like Luc Richard Mbah a Moute and he may not even get drafted, but he looks like a guy who will stick. Lock down defender who can run an offense in a pinch. If he measures in at his listed 6’5″ and as long as he looks I’d feel even more comfortable.
Also think if Josh Heytvelt is closer to 6’10” than 6’8″ he could out a nice career for himself.
liked the earlier calls on AJ, Gee, Thornton, Ewing, Mc Neal and Jerells
and if Tyler Smith or Sam Young somehow slip out of the 1st everyone in the 20’s will be kicking themselves.

cycloParticipantI agree Brandon Ewing could be the next Ramon Sessions.

triplesss05Participanta.j. price is clutch and he gets the job done. Might not play like a true point all the time, but he can run a team and is always willing to take(and make the big shot). Also, danny green is the consumate role player on a team full of “stars” so he should have a smooth transition to the pro game as he can lock up and knock down the three, although he might be a little undersized to play the three and a little slow to play the 2. But, definitely has the heart.

piratejpParticipantThis thread started pre-draft, but post-draft I’d have to say Patty Mills. That dude is a good player & he’s got to feel pretty disrespected at this point. He’s going to have a major chip on his shoulder & Portland got a great replacement for Rodriguez at backup PG.
BTW I’d advise against clicking any of the links in the post above. You likely already knew that, but just in case…
