Meditated StatesParticipantWho is the player not projected in the top 10 who could be maybe the best player in next years draft, or a top 3 player and why?

JNixonParticipantWally Judge. He is a freak athlete and he has perimeter skills that are coming along nicely. He is going to be a beast at K-State

gatorheelsParticipantSylvan Landesberg (Virginia)….. he has a lot of skills . He is a sleeper for sure

MagikKnickParticipantI would say Larry Sanders, but the last month & a half, his stock has been rising dramatically
So, I gotta agree with Iguodala9 and say Wally Judge

Meditated StatesParticipantHe jumps out the building. Sylvan is a possible sleeper too with his explosive scoring ability.

blackflash234ParticipantPotential is outstanding and if you’re being compared to Dirk Nowitzki, you have talent. nbadraft.net has him going in the mid second round.

Lemons4LifeParticipantCompletely agree with MagikKnick. Also, maybe Avery Bradley.

JoeWolf1A little undersized at 6’7” but he is long is a good athlete, very versatile, 3 point range, and a good handle, he’s a projected mid to late 1st rounder, but i think he will be a lot better pro than a lot of players picked before him
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/15/2009 - 12:24pm #182035

Meditated StatesParticipantHe has scary potential too.

JoeWolf1I know NBA Draft.net doesn’t have him in the top 10, but don’t you think after a year of big conference college ball under his belt the #1 high school player( who is a great athlete and highly skilled ) this year will go top 10,…call me crazy but i think he’s a top ten pick next year
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/15/2009 - 12:47pm #182048
bakimmAVERY BRADLEY TOP 3 PICK DO I DARE
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/15/2009 - 12:47pm #182049
ball4life66ParticipantBradley is not the #1 high school player in the nation.^ Don’t follow ESPN basktball rankings….they’re garbage.

JNixonParticipantYea I was wondering when Avery Bradley was the #1 player in the country. He should be a top 10 pick though. He isnt a sleeper at all actually.

Meditated StatesParticipantHe is not a sleeper.

jojososaParticipantGreg monroe this kid is versatile, and is gonna shine this year
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/15/2009 - 1:46pm #182100

JoeWolf1Yeah, Greg Monroe is legit, a great young power forward, but again i think he could sneak in the top 10
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/15/2009 - 1:53pm #182103

Meditated StatesParticipantI am certain Monroe goes top 10 so I could not call him a sleeper.

JoeWolf1Jarvis Varnado is a sleeper for sure, i like nbadraft.net’s ratliff comparison. I think he is the second coming of Theo Ratliff, and undersized athletic freak shot blocker who can make up for his lack of size, by pure athleticism, and shot blocking ability, i’m not saying future all-star here, but a definite sleeper. James Anderson too, he has great all-round game has been carrying an underachieving OSU team since his freshman year and has the skill set and size to become a good pro
0 - Posted on: Wed, 07/15/2009 - 2:15pm #182120

JNixonParticipantYea Greg Monroe isnt a sleeper either, people were expecting him to leave after last year so he will be watched closely this year. James Anderson is a definite sleeper. He is a great shooter, and he is a smooth enough athlete to not be forced to only spot up in the NBA. He does need to handle the ball better though, he gets stripped in the dribble drive alot.

Josh_CochranEven though we didn’t talk about him too much in our recaps, I was very impressed with him last week at the LBJ Skills Camp. He’s bigger in person than I thought, both in terms of height and build. He also is more athletic than I anticipated. The kid can shoot the ball. I doubt he’ll ever be an NBA all-star, but I definitely think there’s a place in the league for this kid.

Da1potParticipantAlexey Shved can straight up ball. He can play three positions and he can shoot, pass and dazzle. The only problem is his team is full of established EURO vets so hes not getting much pt.
