omphalosParticipantIf we are talking right now then I’ll take…

3.Josh Smith
4.Corey Maggette
5.Leandro Barbosa

Don’t really see the comparison between Barnes and Warrick. But aside from that good list.

omphalosParticipantBarbosa is more of a scorer than anything else in my opinion, so Terry wins in that category. That said, I value scoring over playmaking in a SG. I took into account their situations and expected production with those two; Barbosa will likely start at the 2 and the Raptors will need him to take plenty of shots because they are seriously low on scorers. Terry is playing in a stacked Mavericks team right now and will probably see a dip in production as he gets older whereas Barbosa will benefit for the change of scenery. Age was definitely a factor.
Just as an aside, while I love Barbosa as a player, he will be detrimental to the Raptors in curbing Derozan’s minutes; unless Demar has stepped it up a whole heap this off-season it will be hard to justify giving him huge minutes ahead of Barbosa.

8. George Hill is a great defendor
9. Barnes is a very good defendor as well

IndianaBasketballParticipant1. John Wall or Brandon Jennings? – Wall and easily.
2. Andrew Bogut or Andrew Bynum? – Two injury prone centers. Bynum has more upside, but injuries will probably prevent him from reaching it. I guess I’d take Bogut.
3. Kenyon Martin or Josh Smith? – Hmmm… The player who’s had microfracture on both knees or the one still in his amazingly athletic prime?
4. Richard Jefferson or Corey Maggette? – Should I choose the declining small forward or the selfish ball hog who doesn’t defend? Give me the declining small forward. At least I know he’ll move the ball and play defense.
5. Jason Terry or Leandro Barboso? – Give me Barbosa. Terry is slowing down.
6. Jose Calderon or Carlos Delfino? – Two different players, but I’d take Delfino. He’s underrated. He plays both ends up the floor and does everything well.
7. Luke Ridnour or Mike Conley? – Ridnour is a backup which Conley will probably end up being. Give me Conley. He’s still young and has decent upside.
8. George Hill or Ty Lawson? – Lawson is the better pure point guard, but I’d go with Hill. I love his length and defensively ability.
9. Hakim Warrick or Matt Barnes? – Two different players, but give me Barnes. Warrick is still a skinny tweener.
10. Marcin Gortat or Kyrylo Fesenko? – Gortat. He’s actually more than just a big body.

IndianaBasketballParticipantAveraging 13 and 9 for his career. He’s definitely not a bust, but I did have higher expectations when he came out of Utah. Injuries have held him back.

MkadozaParticipantWho is better now?
1.John Wall or Brandon Jennings? Honestly I think it’ll be a wash this year, especially if Jennings learns to shot better. Wall for the long haul.
2.Andrew Bogut or Andrew Bynum? Which injury prone AB do I want? I’m leaning towards Bogut because he’s better now, in virtually every facet of the game.
3.Kenyon Martin or Josh Smith? Is this a question? Smooth all day.
4.Richard Jefferson or Corey Maggette? Maggette
5.Jason Terry or Leandro Barboso? Barbosa

M-DYMESParticipant1.John Wall or Brandon Jennings? John Wall, love his D, speed, and overall feel for the game as a rookie.
2.Andrew Bogut or Andrew Bynum? Bogut, IMO Bynum is not only injury prone, but overrated.
3.Kenyon Martin or Josh Smith? Josh Smith. If I have to pick player for his O and D combined, Josh Smith is damn near atop that list. One of my fav players in the league.
4.Richard Jefferson or Corey Maggette? Maggette. Jefferson is really starting to wear down IMO.
5.Jason Terry or Leandro Barboso? Barbosa. I think he will have a big year in Toronto.
6.Jose Calderon or Carlos Delfino? Delfino. Calderon is too often injured and has lost a step.
7.Luke Ridnour or Mike Conley? Luke Ridnour. Very underrated and will be a motivator and steady performer on a young T-wolves team.
8.George Hill or Ty Lawson? Ty Lawson. One of the most explosive players in the league IMO. He’s a lil bowling ball.
9.Hakim Warrick or Matt Barnes? Barnes. Just a better all around hustle/attitude player IMO.
10.Marcin Gortat or Kyrylo Fesenko? Gortat. Bring down the Polish Hammer.

JNixonParticipant1.John Wall or Brandon Jennings?- Jennings will be better than Wall next year, but I’d take Wall for the future.
2.Andrew Bogut or Andrew Bynum?- Andrew Bogut is better overall. I’d take him.
3.Kenyon Martin or Josh Smith?- EASILY Josh Smith. Kenyon Martin just isn’t more than mediocre nowadays.
4.Richard Jefferson or Corey Maggette?-Close, but I’d take Jefferson. Strictly because he’s a better defender.
5.Jason Terry or Leandro Barboso?- Jason Terry for me.
6.Jose Calderon or Carlos Delfino?- Really depends since they don’t play nearly the same position, but I’d take Delfino. He’s underrated and had a big effect on the Bucks making the playoffs. But no one talks about him.
7.Luke Ridnour or Mike Conley?- Extremely close, but I’d take Conley. Better defender.
8.George Hill or Ty Lawson?- Ty Lawson is better to me. I’d take him.
9.Hakim Warrick or Matt Barnes?- Hakim Warrick. Matt Barnes isn’t very good.
10.Marcin Gortat or Kyrylo Fesenko?- Gortat. Easily.

Easily.
