ItsVictorOladipoParticipantSG – Beal. I really think this kid is the real deal. Despite playing on a Florida team that doesn’t feature him he is still having a very nice freshman year, he can shoot, attack the basket, rebound and defend with his his biggest flaw being his height. I think he’s a future All-Star.
SF – Kidd-Gilchrist. IMO the next great perimeter defender, MKG should also be able to score on the next level as well. It would be interesting to see what his scoring numbers would be at the college level if he played on a team not as loaded as Kentucky.
PF – Perry Jones III. With his athleticism and length Jones certainly has the highest ceiling out of those three. However he seems less likely to hit his ceiling than Sullinger and Robinson are to hit their own.

dylangrinsteadParticipantI really think he needs to go to the right team to be successful. His best fit is a team which doesnt need him to be the first scoring option and doesnt expect him to be a dominant rebounder either.

Chilbert arenasParticipantLamb
Miller
PJIII
That being said I wouldn’t take Miller or Jones high because of their bust potential as well. I would feel much more comfortable with MKG and T-Rob since they play as hard as it gets in college basketball. You can’t teach heart.

redone1ParticipantSG- Lamb- He might be my favirote prospect in this draft. I love his smoothness, everything comes easy to him. He is a great off the bounce shooter which is a vital ability to have when you want to be a consistent iso scorer in the league. He is also very good at running off screens for shots (ala Rip Hamilton). Also has incredibly long wingspan (7ft+) which gives him alot of potential for defense. I would take him 3rd overall behind Drummond and Davis.
SF- MKG. Will be great defender, all he needs to develop is a bit better ball handling and a consistent 18-20 ft. jumpshot.
T-rob- I love Thomas Robinson as well. He reminds me of Blake Griffin alot. Remember, when Blake was at OU people thought he was going to be athletic, but perhaps not this gamechanging type of altheticism. I think TRob show the same type of ability. He also has a better midrange then Blake had.

dylangrinsteadParticipantI think Rivers game translates well to the NBA so I think he will be the best 2 guard.
Barnes and Miller will be the better scorers but MKG will be the best overall player.
Sullinger will be the best player in the right situation. He is not a player to build a franchise around but i think he will be the best 4 besides Anthony Davis in the draft

BasterdInABasketParticipantJeremy Lamb,or Bradley Beal, or Austin Rivers, or Terrence Ross
Has the length and touch to become an all star, Potentially a mini-Durant. Rivers has a Monta Ellis ceiling, but Ill take a mini-KD.
Harrison Barnes, or Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, or Quincy Miller
Close between him and Barnes. MKG seems like he wants it more than anyone.
Jared Sullinger, or Thomas Robinson, or PJ3
I dont think he’ll come anywhere near his ceiling. Also has the lowest floor.

frogmanParticipantI can’t believe everyone is saying MKG. I like him as much as the next guy but Barnes has the ability to be a number one option. I think MKG will be an excellent player but his best possible scenario is not as good as Barnes’

TruettParticipantI think Rivers will end up as a combo and be very very nice, best pure two? Beal reminds me a bit of Gordon. I would say Lamb to be the best of the group in terms of potential as a pure 2 (by a hair), but honestly It could end up being whomever lands in the best situation. Lamb is a little bigger/longer and I like his shot better, but that is just me.
I think the Barnes has the highest potential. He could end up a 20-25 pt scorer if he lands in the right situation and works hard. I, like everyone else love MKG’s work ethic, but I think he lacks what Barnes has in pure ability. Personally, I think that Miller needs another year to get strength back in his leg, so its hard to place where he fits in the realm of potential.
PJIII has the most in the realm of potential… A super athletic near 7′ face up four who can take a jumpshot off the dribble and go out to 3? Yes please. Whether or not he gets there is another question… Sullinger seems to me to be the safest bet out of all of them. I could see him getting 15 and 9 as a rookie which is pretty impressive imo. I am sure I’ll get some flack for this, but I am down on T-rob compared to others on this site. Yes, he is awesome this year and may well be the best player in college, but he looks small for a professional 4 and he is a junior who never played much because he could not get past the Morris twins in the lineup (who are not exactly blowing the world away right now). I am weary of upperclassmen who dominate when they couldn’t get playing time in their first two years because it is hard for me to tell how much of their success is due to the fact that they are just stronger than their oponents… a benefit they will not enjoy in the NBA .
