blazer_fan_foreverParticipant1. Adam Morrison
2. Greg Oden
3. Barrack ObamaThis might sound like a joke, but this is a serious question.

McWinningParticipantMorrison Oden at least is getting rebounds and decent stats while right now Morrison is at the end of the bench.

SpencerIsHawesomeObama then Morrison then Oden
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 9:14am #202932

uneik1ParticipantMorrison!
Oden hasn’t played that bad. Just fouls too much. You knew it would take a while too develop a solid offensive game.
You can’t expect Obama to fix 8 years of chaos and #*ck up in just one year. It is going to take another year or 2 too see results. Let’s relax on that.

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantI agree…Morrison has been…well, atrocious. However, Obama has made things worse…but, oh well…I agree on Oden.

SpencerIsHawesomeIf Obama was in the process of fixing things, then yeah, but he’s only making things worse. And it’s not a “it has to get worse before it gets better” kind of worse. it’s just worse.

JNixonParticipantI agree with everyone that says give Obama 4-8 yrs. to get it together before getting on his tip. I mean, its like drafting a player and him not playing good the 1st 10-20 games of the season or so and just saying he sucks. You’ll never have a squad if you write a guy off like that.
The biggest disappointment has been Adam Morrison hands down. Oden at least has made some impact for Portland, and continues to show potential as he get a better understanding of the game and gets more moves. Morrison is too slow and to survive in the NBA and not quite a consistent enough shooter to be a specialist.

Michael.S.ParticipantAll Obama has been doing since he got elected has been making his brackets and golfing with M.J. , what the hell has he donethat benefits us?
0- Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 10:00am #202973

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantI have to say, Obama would make a better basketball analyst than president lol.

JNixonParticipantPres. Bush was at soooo many Texas Rangers games and National games when he was in office…nobody said anything.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 10:04am #202979
Michael.S.ParticipantHe is more worried about how his brackets fell out than the good of the people, Theres way more problems than his brackets, trust me Iggy his life is pretty good right now, but we are still in an economic crisis
0- Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 10:06am #202984

blazer_fan_foreverParticipantAs far as I’m concerned, he lied to get into office. Basically everything he said was a lie.

Michael.S.ParticipantThis is a question about Obama not Bush, I hate Bush though he was just a piece of trash.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 10:07am #202986
blazerheadfreak2.0he change a couple of lawz for kidz and young menz that get into trouble with drugs gave them work progams, for they dont have 2 go into that type of lifestyle again , u really have be having a hard time 2 see wats he is doin, he got me a job im from brooklyn ull c wat im talkin about if u ever get into real trouble his a$$ will rite there pullin u out just give him time we gave bush that but he is differnt story
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 10:07am #202987

JNixonParticipantSeriously though, how long did that take? He filled that bracket out in like 1 minute and 30 seconds. The time spent filling a bracket wouldnt have any effect on the economic crisis.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 10:08am #202989
SpencerIsHawesomeGive Obama 4-8 years? I doubt he will get re-elected at this point. He isn’t doing anything to help the country. He spends tons of money bailing out companies that shouldn’t be. His healthcare reform doesn’t even let you choose your own doctors. He is getting too involved with things that he shouldn’t be.
blazerhead, I doubt you even actually know anything about Obama or what he has done. I’m 99% sure you just say obama because he is black.
he’s just a puppet anyways, just like bush. it’s all the same they aren’t running the country. listen to Asher Roth’s song sour patch kids it explains it pretty good “the fortune 500 run the country”
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 10:08am #202990
Michael.S.ParticipantNo offense, all people are worried about is that he is the first black president, when he really isn’t doing squat.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 10:12am #202993
SpencerIsHawesomeYeah just what the country needs, a president who bails out idiots when they’re in deep shit. Someone fucks up and the government takes hard working people’s tax money and spends it on them.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 10:12am #202995

JNixonParticipantHe did lie, but show me 1 politician that hasnt and I would be absolutely AMAZED!
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 10:17am #203001
Michael.S.ParticipantGovernments are fake and so is every President we have had, including Obama.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 10:17am #202999
blazerheadfreak2.0the truth is ALL POLITICIAN SUCK everyone of them there all snakes u hear about new jersey 100 of the arrested

SpencerIsHawesomeI agree, politics are fucked up… i dont know if it will ever get any better either
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 11:07am #203015
BasketballGuru24ParticipantI Honestly don’t care because i live in Canada…….but obama is trying to do everything he can, he isn’t going to change the country over night. Bush probably did more damage to the country in 8 years then any good. Obama will show whats good and i expect him 2 be president of your country for 8 years……but i again i live in canada
AND I GOT FREE HEALTH CARE !!!!! lool
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 11:24am #203025

nateoak10Participantobama hasnt even been in office 1 year, give him 2 years before making a judgment, adam morrison has been the worst easily
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 12:14pm #203046

Lemons4LifeParticipanti see. to me pretty much everyone is right but one question::::
Obama or McCain and his fat chinny chin chin? lol no offence mccain
i choose Obama
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 12:37pm #203057
SpencerIsHawesomeno “offence” but its hard to make a point /make fun of someone when you spell offense wrong
and i think Mccain would be better regardless of how many chins he has. The big knock on him was that he wanted to stay in Iraq. And what is Obama doing that he said he wouldnt? staying in Iraq for much longer than he said
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 12:44pm #203061

Bryant24ParticipantAdam Morrison been the most dissapointing and give greg oden time and barack obama is trying his hardest bush just messed and everything up now obama got to clean that up and this is a basketball site not a political one.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 12:58pm #203079
SpencerIsHawesomelol i lost like 40 points in this one thread for not liking what obama has done so far… i mean he could change my mind but his way of fixing things in my opinion has just made things worse..
and about this being a basketball forum and not politics.. whats wrong with going off topic every now and then?
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 1:45pm #203095

Dtay2152Participantbush had 8 long years to mess things up it would take anybody awhile to fix all his mistakes. and oden still has a chance to be great he is gona put down all the haters this season
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 2:34pm #203115

Lemons4LifeParticipantHAHAHA offence is simply the British way. BTW I’m American
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 4:26pm #203228
billykParticipantI dont get it what has Obama done thats so bad???
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 4:58pm #203261
SpencerIsHawesomeso then why are you spelling it the british way if you’re american?
I pretty much laid it out clear what I don’t like about him. He spent crazy money bailing out companies which is ridiculous. Thats how our market system is supposed to work– some companies go down others go up new ones are created. Bailing out companies goes against what this country is supposed to be.
Also, I hate his healthcare reform he is pushing. I’m all for healthcare for everyone, but not the way he is going about it. He is giving the government too much control. People should be able to pick their own doctors. And their is fault in his plans– people who work have to pay for bums who dont even have jobs and dont even try to get a job. I don’t know all the facts about it yet, so I can’t say I am 100% against it but from what I know up to this point I am against it.
Another thing is the whole Iraq war. The main reason he won is because he was supposed to end the war, but from what I can tell the progress is going very very slow. He promised a 16-month complete exit–now his plan is a 16 month reduction.. who knows what it will be come 16 months, probably the same as it is now.
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 5:59pm #203305
billykParticipantBailing out companies is CAPTAILISM at its finest, go back an look at this countires history dealing with corprations (Rockfellers, Standard Oil, Ford, etc)…. As far as healthcare I think is a noble thing to do and I think alot of people have a lot of misinformation about the healhcare bill (people can pick their own doctors and the people who are being asked to pay for it onw 98% of this countries wealth… I dont believe in big government either and I think the US government is ran buy multinational corporations… As far as the Iraqi war its hard to understand because its a poltics… Military wise US will never be out of Iraqi or the Middle East in general… Why because of money (private contracting), military stratgey (its next to Russia and China), religious reasons (Christianty), and probaly other political reasons…. The situation is more than Obama or Bush they are just a face….
0 - Posted on: Wed, 08/19/2009 - 6:50pm #203315

butidonthavemoneyEverybody built Obama up too much. They thought he would come in and everything would be puppies and rainbows. The truth is he hasn’t done anything that would have changed your vote in the past. Find me a good example of Obama doing something that he wasn’t expected to do. Has he done anything dissapointing?
Psssh, I wanted Clinton to win.
