blackflash234ParticipantTo me, the guy that really comes to mind for me is Trey Thompkins who disappointed at the Chicago combine and really hasn’t done well in team workouts. I could see him slipping to the mid 2 round part of the draft.

frogmanParticipantI think Kemba will, I heard he thinks he is headed to either Toronto, Sacramento or Detroit at worst. If he really thinks that I think he is in for a suprise. I just don’t see how 6 foot 1 score first point guards are on the top of teams wishlists. But as we always hear, it only takes one team to like him.

I am so sick of hearing that Kemba is a score first point guard…and if he is so what, look at Rose. He has NEVER been known as a scorer until this year…when he had to! Do you know where UCONN was picked to finish in the Big East??? 10th! They end up starting off the season by winning Maui, then having a great year in the Big East, culminated by running the tables in a legendary post season run.
I want you to tell me who Calhoun expected to get more that 10ppg out of on that team besides Walker, then put their season in perspective. Walker HAD to score and score big or UCONN had zero chance this year. Oriaki is not a scorer. Lamb and Napier were about as unheralded as you can get. About the best hopes they had for a scorer was Roscoe Smith, a freshman. If Kemba had 2 guys that averaged just 12ppg each he probably wouldnt have avg over 20ppg.
Kemba said that he never even considered himself a scorer, and in high school was a defensive player. Kemba’s game has always reminded me of Ty Lawson’s but Lawson had Hansbrough and Ellington, if he didnt, he would have had to score more. The fact that Kemba proved to be a scorer should only bolster his position in the draft.

ilike.panochasParticipantNo prospect has been nitpicked more than Donatas Montiejunas, I can see him slipping outside of top 20 because of it, and will turn out to be a steal at that spot.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI’d say Tobias Harris. He could go as early as 15 and could slip all the way to about 35 maybe.

JordanC20ParticipantI’m not buying Shumpert going 19th to Charlotte I believe he will end up in the 40’s
I believe Chandler Parsons may go undrafted also.

ilike.panochasParticipantChandler Parson will not go undrafted, may even sneak in the late 1st round. 6’10 with his skill-set and athleticism will not go unnoticed.

JunkYardDogParticipantSo much players can fall from maybe 10 15 or even 20 spots in this draft…
there will be some steal for clever GM 🙂

providencefriars1ParticipantJordan Williams has fallen about 20 spots since the draft process started, he could continue to fall also. Same with Deandre Liggins and Scotty Hopson.

PulseGlazerParticipantKemba and Harris – both steals. Bismack goes WAY earlier than expected… as soon as 5, but more likely 7 (Sac is a bad spot for him, but oh well).

MuggsyParticipantI agree with Donatas Montiejunas, he’s bounced around so many different slots. I believe he will be a huge steal in the late first round if he does slip.

surveParticipantback on topic…
Jordan Williams I think has been slipping all along so I dont know if he would be a big slip at draft time, if anything he may move up…
Biyombo definitely could go outside the lottery.
Travis Leslie is a wild guess for me, I think he may go VERY late 2nd….possibly undrafted….I know sounds crazy for the guy widely considered the best athlete in the draft.

frogmanParticipantClearly we have been watching different Rose’s. He has always been a scorer in my eyes but is also very adept at dishing. You make some good points but trying to score against the likes of rose, rondo, westbrook and the like isn’t very comparable to college, they will all be bigger, stronger and in a lot of cases more athletic. This is why i think his lack of an evident passing game will hurt his stock. Hell i hope you’re right I like the guy but my personal opinon is that he will slip, don’t bite my head off lol

Kyle Singler should have come out last year. He was a projected lottery pick last year then came all the way down to late first to 2nd this draft0 - Posted on: Thu, 06/23/2011 - 4:15am #550637
