I am assuming you mean as long term prospects, rather than just this year:

Archie Goodwin ’12 OR Rodney Purvis ’12: Rodney Purvis. I like Goodwin a lot, but I think that Purvis is super explosive and might have a brighter future.

Marcus Smart ’12 OR Kentavious Caldwell ’11: Marcus Smart. He has a lot more bulk than Caldwell-Pope and plays with reckless abandon. Really hope he succeeds, not saying that Caldwell-Pope will not.

PJ Hairston ’11 OR Adonis Thomas ’11: PJ Hairston. Think he has a defined wing position, is a solid scorer and shooter and is built like a tank. Thomas may be more athletic and possibly possess more upside, but I have not been incredibly high on him from what I have seen. So, I am going with PJ for now, though I have a feeling they both stay in college for a few years.

Branden Dawson ’11 OR Wayne Blackshear ’11: Branden Dawson. I think Blackshear is the better scorer, but Dawson is another who plays with reckless abandon and is a kid I want to see do well. Blackshear has more of a defined position, but if Dawson works on his All-Around game, he could be a really unique wing player. This has nothing to do with Blackshear’s injury, which I hope he bounces back from.

Rodney Hood ’11 OR Dorian Finney-Smith ’11: Dorian Finney-Smith. Expect him to have more of an early impact and feel he has a stronger skill set. Things could change, but I like Finney-Smith as of right now

Quincy Miller ’11 OR James McAdoo ’11: Quincy Miller. It is a tough choice, but I think that Miller has a chance to be one of the better wing players in this draft. McAdoo has some more bulk and a much better post game, but I do not think he possesses Miller’s overall scoring ability or athleticism. This will be an interesting one to see play out.

Josiah Turner ’11 OR Tony Wroten ’11: Tony Wroten. Just feel he is incredibly talented and should be a very nice match-up problem at the 1. Both should have strong impact as freshmen, but I like Wroten better as a NBA prospect, even if he is more of a hybrid than a "true" PG.

Michael Gilchrist ’11 OR LeBryan Nash ’11: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist. This could go either way as well. Nash is set up to succeed at the college level, he already has a pro body. Kidd-Gilchrist still needs some development as far as the physical game is concerned, but his instincts and speed are top notch. I think that Mike is a slasher and will be a fantastic defender, a major spark for any team he is on. He just has seemed to be a winner where ever he goes, definitely imposing his will on the outcome.
