DolanCareParticipantEarly would be an interesting fit… He’s a little too similar to Terrence Jones, but they could make it work. IMO the Rockets really need to focus on getting some perimeter defenders. Besides Beverly, they have an awful perimeter defensive core.
Markel Brown would be a nice fit. Elfrid Payton is probably too small for what they truly need, but he’s basically Beverly with more upside, so it could be a good long-term thing.

joecheck88ParticipantThey have holes to fill. I think they need a better bench so best player available. I like the idea of C Early. Houston doesn’t mind taking 4 year players. Also wouldn’t mind seeing a combo guard like Payton or Semaj. Jeremy Lin may not stick around. Think Early would be best if he falls that far. Fits greatest need and can help right away.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantProbably end up trading it.. They are getting rid of Asik sometime and a first round pick makes it easier to move his contract.

TRC1991ParticipantI think a stash pick for Houston just because they have everyone besides Jordan Hamilton locked up under contract for this upcoming season. Either Capela or Micic

Kokayne_DawkinzParticipantWhy would Houston need to include an 1st to move Asik when he’s an huge expiring contract and can act raisiny start on a lot of teams in this league with his defensive ability and rebounding?

JoeWolf1I kind of like Cleanthony Early in Houston, now that WCS is coming back. They’re gonna have to shell out some cash to keep Parsons after next year, and having a NBA ready rookie at SF as an insurance policy might not be a bad idea.
I don’t know much about Houston’s payroll, but with D12, Harden and them overpaying Lin and Asik, I don’t know if they’ll have the 8-10 mil to give Chandler.
I think Utah would love to get Early too, though. Rich Jefferson is not the 3 man they want for much longer, so I wonder if he’ll be on the board at 25.

HomerKangParticipantI would also take Cleananthony Early, if he’s still available at that spot. If not, I would take Jabari Brown.
WCS is going back to school.
