i mean he was an important part to that team…he was a matchup nightmare..remember after he left the kings and signed with the spurs? with them he was considered to be a bust? he found himself again playing with orlando…

if the magic needed him so badly they would have tried to keep him. they thought he was expendable i guess (i think he works great witht that team) because portland and toronto were the ones bidding on him, i dont think orlando even put out a bid for him. they thought they could get someone to replace him, which they did with vince carter. still think he would have been better and the team would have been better if he stayed in orlando, but im quite happy he is in toronto 🙂

Magic are fine without Hedo because they have a better player in Vince and Rashard can go back to his natural position SF off the face that he is more dominant at that position than at the PF. Hedo is a system guy to me I don’t think he’ll be as good in Toronto Vince is going to help Orlando very much because he is still very good 1 on 1 and is an underrated passer.

Not sure if Carter is better but watching Rashard Lewis trying to guard Pau Gasol in the Finals was a joke. They made the right move and by signing Bass have a PF who can guard these bigs. Also they have a deep bench now too with Pietrus, Barnes and Gortat. Carter will help, Courtney Lee is overrated anyway you have to at least make guys like Kobe play defense.

Vince is better if you watched the Nets this year you would see it Hedo only thrives off a system he is overrated in my eyes.
