     Released!
    Any thoughts?

Today the Orlando Magic waived Jason Williams.

now he isn’t stuck behind Jameer, Gilbert, and Duhon. Williams had some great moments last season and I think he can help a team trying to contend. Depends on what he wants though. Can he be a back up that is ok with playing 15 mins a night OR does he really think he can get a significant amount of playing time somewhere.

Of course you gotta think maybe he’ll go to Miami with a weak PG sitaution there and his veteran presence can help but I kind of want him to be on the Knicks. i think Toney Douglas is best coming off as a scorer but when Felton needs a break, they don’t really have PG who can set up the offense. thats why we see Felton playing 39 minutes a game. If the Knicks want to be serious, they need to save some of Felton and Amare’s energy come playoff time.

Its a good time for a veteran pg that’s got respect around the league to be a free agent. As the guy above mentioned, the Heat and Knicks could both use pg help. I’d throw the Lakers out there as well. Either way, Williams should be getting some run for someone this playoffs.

The Hawks could use a back up PG behind Mike Bibby. Jeff Teague hasnt stepped up at all this season.

    LAKE SHOW

He would get no time with the Lakers plus the Lakers can’t afford him

I was surprised by how well he played last season after sitting out a few years..He played better last season than he did his last 2 years in the league before he retired…

I hear Memphis would love to have him back there..They could use his outside shooting and toughness…
