valentineExcluding those that already have won one.
Its tough, as you’ve basically got to say player X will be the best in the league at one point.
I’ll go with KAT to win 2.
The Brow to win 1
Kawhi to win 1
And I think Westbrook has an MVP season in him if he can be 100% the man on his team.

HitsterParticipantAD has the ability to be an MVP, Westbrook and Harden are obvious choices. DMC puts up MVP stats but would need to be on a contender and have an improved attitude.
Kawhi and one of KAT/Wiggins are decent calls too.
Paul George is a consistent high level contender who reaches All NBA level, Lillard could be an outside call too.
I’ll throw in the Greek Freak as he could be a stats filler for years and if the Bucks become relevant again.
Klay Thompson could be a wildcard call as although he players on a powerhouse team, puts up good stats he may well be in Steph Curry MVP’s shadow for a few years.

cjwParticipantKawhi after duncan, manu, parker are gone. He will get more touches and still be on a good team.

Memphis MadnessParticipantWestbrook — if Steph, LeBron, and Durant ever slow down.
Westbrook is having an UNREAL season with his triple doubles.
Other than the CURRENT guys? They should dominate the next several MVP awards still…
I would take a look at Kristaps Porzingas. His era might be the next to win the MVP award. Steph, LeBron, Durant, and probably/possibly/maybe Westbrook have this thing all sown up for a while.
A guy like Anthony Davis might peak and be on the way down before Steph runs out of gas.
Greek Freak looks like a legit contender for it. He will be peaking 8-10 years from now, and I would ASSUME that Steph Curry and those guys will either be out of the league or on their way out…
I wouldn’t rule out Blake Griffin. I think he could bounce back in the next few years. He is a REALLY GOOD player. And, if the Clips can take the next step or reload then I think he can be on an MVP short list.
Damian Lillard is a guy in that sweet spot — THE guy on a youngish team. Can flat out score and put up stats. His group should peak right after Russ/Steph/Harden so I can see him being in the mix.
From the current class: Ben Simmons and Buddy Hield. 7 or 8 years from now they can be the TOP handful of guys in the league.

therealbballerParticipantWhy would AD peak early and not the greek freak? AD is only one year older than the greek freak..

AdamJCallejaParticipantIt’s a shame to think Chris Paul will never win one

TRC1991ParticipantHe’s never been the best player in the NBA, just like how Elgin Baylor was never the best at any point either

Memphis MadnessParticipantI don’t think Jerry West has a regular season MVP award. Neither does Havlicek.
In many eras only 3 or 4 guys get one.
