Since Kahn already admitted that he wanted to trade one of the point guards he has on his roster, who do you think it will be?
Flynn, or Sessions? (They cant trade Ridnour, he was just signed)
Sessions is a little overpaid and he doesn’t have the potential that Flynn has.. So my guess would be that they would try to trade Sessions, but do any of you guys see them possibly moving Flynn?

    And if you haven’t seen the article ;

Sessions is definitely the one they are trying to move. Flynn is definitely more attractive though because of salary and name recognition. I disagree though to an extent about Flynn having more potential. IMO Sessions has more potential to be a better point guard. Sessions has the tools to be a very good starting PG. I can never see Flynn as being a great pure point. For me he’s definitely in the Steve Francis mold. After getting that TPE from the Childress deal I am shocked that the Hawks haven’t taken Sessions off the Wolves hands.

They are definitely looking to move Ramon Sessions.

I certainly think Ramon Sessions is better than what he showed last year and I don’t think he’s overpaid. He’s a bargain for what he can do and I think he is currently a better player than Jonny Flynn. Jonny Flynn has higher potential though, but he has yet to show he can run a team.

I am sure it’s pretty easy to move Ramon Sessions, but I think Kahn is still waiting on Flynn’s injury report (back issue).

Regardless, I think Sessions is better than Ridnour and I am not sure why he signed Ridnour. The only reason I can think of is that Ridnour is a “better” BACKUP for Flynn than Sessions as Sessions can certainly start for some other teams (Pacers and Bobcats).

Minnesotta already has a deal to trade Sessions and Kosta Kofus to the cavs for Delonte West 4.5mil contract that is partially gaurenteed.

The only reason it is not done yet is because the cavs want to get a SG in the trade, the teams have een trying to get a 3rd team involved but if they cant they will complete it as is.

Yeah they definitely signed Ridnour for that backup and tutelage role. I guess Minny doesn’t like the idea of Flynn and Sessions since both want to be starters, and both are hungry young players. Sessions second half of the season was flat out studly and he’d still be the starting point for the bucks had they not drafted Jennings.

i agree with realgmbakax… when i saw ramon drop something like 44 and 14 against the pistons 2 years ago i knew he’d be good… also.. the 20 pt 24 assist game was awesome.. saw both of em.. sessions was sweet with skiles…

David Kahn loves Jonny Flynn. He wouldn’t trade Flynn and Jefferson for the #10 and Murphy so that means in return for Flynn a team needs to put a big offer on the table. Sessions is a solid role player who could provide solid minutes off the bench. I agree with the person above saying Delonte West is a gettable player. West’s contract is not guaranteed so instead of cutting him the Cavs will get some value back for him in Sessions.

I like most of those trades, but not really the Washington one. I don’t see Minnesota getting Arenas for those guys. The reason Minnesota is willing to trade a PG is so they could get depth at another position. Flynn and Ridnour can man the PG position with occasionally a SG as a last resort if they needed someone to. Plus with Rubio coming over next year I doubt Rubio, Flynn, Arenas, and Ridnour would get enough time. That’d be a great group of guards though.

this is just 3 team trade idea, including sessions and delonte, that i think make some kind of sense for all three teams, even though it most likely wont happen.
    MIN trades Sessions; receives West
CLE trades West, Powe, and Green; receives Sessions and Lee
NJ trades Lee; receives Powe and Green

MIN trades a pg and gets West back, who they want for some reason.
CLE gets young guards and dumps West, don’t know if they wanna trade Powe and Green, but it’s a chance they might take.
NJ gets a power forward in Powe who can start for a while until Favors is ready. Green can back up the sg spot. And I think I heard Lee doesnt wanna be there, so what’s the loss?

How much does Sessions make? I thought it was around 3 million.
