Demarcus OnealParticipantNo one hated on him just no one could of anticipated that he would be this good this season and the nations leading scoring and leading Uconn to wins over nationally ranked teams by himself

sheltwon3ParticipantI was a Kemba hater Kemba sucks lol. Nah I was never too concerned with him early on to be a hater. I mean every one can’t be a one and done and he isnt and I figured he would bounce back because he had too much talent and he has done that and more

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantMan, who could possibly have a good game against the 0-7 University of Maryland-Baltimore County? Stunning.
By that logic, Stan Okoye is also a lottery pick.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantKemba is having a great year. Superb. No possible faults in any of his play. Period. End of story.
That does not change the fact that he was an overpraised and overhyped disappointment last year. He wasn’t playing well, and was as big a reason UConn was bad last year as anyone. There was nothing respectable about how he was before this year, and the concern for him at the next level is still there. He is recreating the 2001 76ers at the college level. The team around him is not at all good. Well, check that, they aren’t talented. They are playing their roles well, and Walker is playing out of his mind. That is great, but nobody is going to draft Kemba to dominate the ball in the manner he is now. The only team that could possibly benefit from a score-first-score-second starting guard is Cleveland (especially if the assume Mo Williams opts out after the year). He is not the ideal point guard in size or style, and if he regresses to the 40 percent shooter he was in his first two years in Big East play the Huskies will probably struggle to win half their games. Unless you see him being Allen Iverson, then he isn’t a lottery pick. A tiny change-of-pace scoring guard off the bench doesn’t merit that high of a pick.

JJeff6ParticipantMaybe he just thrives in an offense built around him…? That could be his comfort zone, being the number one option. That being said, it backs up your point, bothteamsplayedhard. No team is gonna draft him to be their 1st or 2nd option. I think he stands as a mid to late 1st round pic, with a lot of upside. No lottery.

GrandmamaParticipantHe’s a better prospect than Ty Lawson was, with more potential. He’s the quickest pg in the country, and probably the best defensively despite being 5’11". His athleticism and motor are both outstanding. Just because he isn’t averaging tons of assists doesn’t mean he is a shoot first PG. He has the ability and vision to run the point as a true PG. He’s scoring tons because he doesn’t have anyone to dish to, and when you can’t be stopped why would you pass? If his outside shot is falling he is impossible to defend due to his explosiveness off the dribble and his ability to get to the rim, absorb contact, and finsish. His only weaknesses coming into this year were his shooting ability and playing out of control. Both of which he has drastically improved upon. He won’t fall out of the top 20 and has a chance to go late lottery.

QUINCEY HODGES1What makes him have more potential then Lawson exactly?..what does he do better then Lawson did?.. Scoring i can understand since he Doesn’t have Wayne Ellington and Tyler to share the ball with. Lawson was also a very good defender and a better passer. Stronger and just as athletic and fast

QUINCEY HODGES1From what I’ve read he’s under 6’0. If he’s listed at 6’1 by Uconn then chances are good that he’s 5’11-6’0. You always tell the Program to add a inch or inch and a half when they do the media guide
