PHXSUNDREAMPICK13ParticipantEver since being released by the Pacers it been crickets with Andrew Bynum. Anyone seen him lately? Is he "for cheap" coming to another team? I would take a chance on him for Phoenix and make A. Len or Plumlee a trade chip if it works out. Suns can rehab…

nick5354ParticipantMaybe bowling somewhere….
but in all seriousness, Suns medical staff are good, but Bynums knees are shot, they are not miracle workers. Plus Bynum is really struggling mentally with the injuries. When he was playing for the Cavs I remember he looks completely deflated on the court doing stupid stuff because it looked like he knew he cant get back.
In the Suns situation, I don’t think you want a player like Bynum taking up resources or playing time from their two young centres, mostly talking about Len. I really don’t see him coming back, so they could just focus on developing Len.

frogmanParticipantYeh it’s about time people realised the Phoenix medical staff don’t have divine powers.

BallinAIstyleParticipantNow I know from being a 76ers fan that Bynum has more issues than probably any other player in this league.. both on and off the court. And I agree that the Suns do not have miracle workers for a rehab staff nor a team that I would let Bynum around or anywhere close too. That being said, what are your thoughts on Miami rolling the dice and taking a shot with him? Of course this all assumming he can physically play this upcoming season.
My reasoning is simple. First, Miami is a lockeroom, although empty at this point lol, but that is expected to be filled with a number of high profile veterns and stars as we all know. Not to mention secondly that Lebron has lacked a true post threat in reality the entire time he has been in Miami. And lastly, with their potential cap situation he is a high risk very high reward
Again just a thought but interested to see what the boards thought are.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantI’d put my chips on Oden over Bynum

WarblingSpamalopeParticipanthe is retired. He may not realize it yet though. I’m sure his agent is trying to help him take some more money from somebody. The fact that he has sown discord for his last two teams while giving zero production is probably working against him however

xJumpManxParticipantYou do not want him in your locker room. His knees might be gone but his attitude is the real team killer.

MattP31ParticipantBynum could only possibly fit into a few locker rooms right now. After failing with the Pacers I can see 3 teams being a fit. Miami(with the Big 3) to give that veteran presence, LA Lakers with Kobe in a spot where he has had previous success, and the Knicks under Phil Jackson if Jackson thinks he can keep him under control.

MattP31ParticipantI wasn’t calling him a veteran presence. I was referring to the veteran presence within the Heat locker room. I’m a Sixers fan so no way would I call him a veteran presence lol

TarHeelRavenParticipantBynum is done. I cannot invision any team wanting him right now, even at a minimum salary. His attitude is horrific, his knees are shot, his work ethic is non-existent.

ProudGrandpaParticipantIn Bynum’s defense, he DID look really effective in two games for the Pacers last season. He can still play basketball on occasion
