Arc12345ParticipantWhere do you guys want to see Lebron? Where do you think he goes?

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantLakers. Lebronzo.

xJumpManxParticipantCapella, CP3 and Lebron who has stated its the Max nothing less.

IndianaBasketballParticipantIt’s bold to predict, but I think LeBron stays in CLE.
– The East will still be the easiest path to the Finals.
– They have a top ten pick.
– For 2019-2020, G Hill’s contract is only guaranteed for $1M and JR’s only $3.87M. Maybe Kobe Altman can flip those two players into more help for LeBron sooner rather than later.
– There are always free-agents who are willing to take a paycut to play with LeBron.
I also think the Cavs should give serious consideration to resigning Hood. We all saw what he could do last night when he’s not asked to just stand in a corner.
I also think both Clarkson and Nance Jr can be quality contributers.
Just trying to support my prediction lol.

220ParticipantI think it makes some sense that he simply stays in Cleveland at this point. He’s had 9 finals appearances and he has 3 rings. There is no need to ring chase. There is no significant achievement he hasn’t earned at this point. He loves Cleveland and unless Dan Gilbert does something idiotic to chase him away I don’t see why he would leave.

HitsterParticipantI think he will stay put as unless Houston can create some salary space they cannot add him. Both him and CP3 would need to take less than max and I don’t know how Capella could be fitted in two.
Philly could make a run at him and the idea of winning a title on a 3rd team might appeal to him. Plus Embeast, Simmons and co widens his title window.
Lakers may appeal but what would dynamic with Lonzo be especially if Dad opened his mouth.

Memphis MadnessParticipantCeltics.
Perfect five man starting lineup of Kyrie, Brown, Tatum, LeBron, and Horford with Terry Rozier off the bench. I am assuming they have to move some contracts like Hayward, Marcus Morris, maybe Baynes, and then let Marcus Smart walk.
Semi/Gabe/Theis/Larkin as fringe guys.
Then I think they can get value at 27. Moritz Wagner would be an interesting pick there. Not much of an athlete or a defender, but can hit the 3, make some plays, and rebound fairly well.

halfdecayedParticipantNo chance he stays in Cleveland really, I don’t know what yall smoking but we’ll talk about it more in a month or so. Philly is the most realistic destination for Bron money wise. Houston gives him the best chance, but it really is tricky to pull off.. I don’t see him going to the Lakers. Sixers also have the 10th pick which is only 2 spots behind the supposed ¨asset¨ that the Cavs have. They could pick up another 3nD player like Mikal Bridges, a Kevin Knox, maybe even Michael Porter falls to them, doubt it but possible. Fultz should also improve..
But yeah, I ain’t afraid to bet that he’s out of Cleveland.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantAs a lakers fan, I would like to believe LA, but philly seems to be the most logical destination for several reasons. I think after this season, he’s come to the realization that he can’t carry this workload forever. Philly would give him the chance to groom Simmons and embiid while he eventually falls into more of a complementary role. They have the cap space to sign him outright and the assets to land another marquee player. Plus colangelos firing could open the door to bring someone like David griffin in, who lebron has tremendous respect for. It just makes too much sense.
But I’m still holding out hope for LA.

SubZeroParticipantPhilly seems like a decent option at this point, and apparently the whole world says he’s going to LA, but I’d actually like to see him stay and them trade for a guy like Kemba. This roster would be a lot better if they just had one other good scorer and I think Kemba could do a lot there. It’d be cool seeing Sexton or Trae on this team too, but I don’t know if Lebron would like that better than getting an established All Star

Scott42444ParticipantIf he wants to age gracefully while still having a shot at yearly contention, he goes to either Philly or Boston. Basically, if he stays in the East, he’s got a chance at the Finals for the forseeable future. If he goes to the West, I think he’s crazy. There seems to be a BIG need for an influx of top tier talent that should be flocking to Eastern Conference teams within the next 10 years. I was recently, as a Bulls fan, trying to compare the Cleveland Cavaliers roster next season (minus LeBron, with the addition of the #8 pick, let’s say Colin Sexton, Trae Young, Michael Porter Jr., Mikal Bridges, Wendell Carter, etc. – that 2nd/3rd tier of lottery prospects) compared to MY favorite team the Chicago Bulls, with the addition of the #7 & #22 picks (also assuming that RFA Zach Lavine is resigned in the off-season). Which team helps an aging LeBron stay in the hunt for the Finals each year over the next 3-5 years more? Cleveland or Chicago? Just a note, I do NOT think that LeBron will sign with the Chicago Bulls. Hell, I don’t think that ANYONE of note will sign a free agent contract with the Chicago Bulls until I see evidence to the contrary. They ALWAYS seem to swing and miss regardless of their best effort. But I have a hard time looking at the Bulls roster as worse than the Cavs roster. I would think it’s a much better roster to compete in the East, if you add an ELITE player like LeBron (or my hope, they make a serious run at getting Kawhi Leonard over the next year through a trade with San Antonio or sign him outright next year). That’s more of an endictment of how bad Cleveland’s roster is over how well the Bulls front office has created a "contender" (barely a playoff team, although it IS the East so they are not TOO FAR from contention).
REMEMBER, THE CAVS HAD 3 #1 PICKS IN A 4 YEAR SPAN (NONE OF WHICH REMAIN ON THE ROSTER). How many other teams in the East would have such a terrible, depleted roster (minus LeBron) if they had 3 out of 4 #1 overall picks?

draftmangtParticipantunless Lebron is willing to spend most of the game playing off the ball I don’t see how the spacing would work with a Lebron-Simmons-Embiid front court. Simmons isn’t a threat to score outside of 5 feet from the rim and while Embiid can shoot from outside the last thing Philly should want to do with him is put him in that Bosh/Love role of being used mostly as a floor spacer

BasterdInABasketParticipantMilwaukee. Sign and trade. His best path back to the finals the next few years

cohenbc1ParticipantHe should stay in Cleveland. With minor tweaks to the roster they will still be the favorites in the East next year, or maybe co-favorites with Boston.
That’s a much better position than going to LA where, at best, they will be just be in the mix with GSW, Houston, Spurs if Kawhi comes back, and maybe New Orleans.
There’s just no way LeBron, Harden and CP3 can all play together unless one accepts the role of spot-up shooter. Not going to happen.

thetruth87ParticipantKenyon Martin was on the radio today saying he thinks Lebron will sign with the Knicks. I don’t think it will happen (although I really hope so), but if he wins a title in NY I think that would solidify his case for being the GOAT.

The GoatParticipantHe’d make anyone a contender obviously. It largely depends on cap space but i guess teams would do what they can to land him. Id love to see him take a small market team to the top but it wont happen. The Pels with Jrue and Davis, the Bucks with Khris and Giannis, the Jazz with Mitchell and Gobert.. Everyone seems to think if he leaves CLE he joins a big time contender, even if it tarnishes his legacy, someone like Boston, Philly or Houston, the other option being the Lakers.
Im going to go on a limb with the 100/1 shot and say LeBron tries the ultimate challenge – to bring the worst team to the finals. He goes to Phoenix and their starting 5 suddenly looks pretty good – James Booker Jackson Warren Ayton.
