 I promise you before the season started there was so much dislike for him as a player and now that he is playing well he’s in many lottery discussions. I will make it known, that I am 1 of those naysayers about him being a 1 & Done prospect before the season started and I have not paid any attention to him this season. What I want to desperately know, where is all the love coming from though for a guy that everyone was just so down on?

To be honest, I don’t recollect seeing many naysayers or haters on Noah from the start. I do remember a lot of people liking him saying he has a lot of upside and this was like a full year ago. I think it was MikeyV and few other guys saying he has more upside then Randle. Can you name these users other then yourself ?

 I cannot name anyone but I do know in a couple threads about 1 & Done prospects quite a few weren’t sold on him.

 I agree For_Never_Ever, I don’t remember seeing that many people down on him.  As a matter of fact, it’s because of NBADraft.net that I was high on him in the first place.  His measurables are spectacular for an NBA PF prospect and Aran and the boys had him ranked in the Top 5 at some point very early if I remember correctly.  Early in the college basketball season, he and Kyle Anderson were ranked around 15+ (Vonleh) and early 2nd (Anderson) and I was marveling at the depth of this draft if those two talents were to be taken late.  Now, both of those players have had a chance to show their skills and have settled in to their real spots.

 Correct! I know this is a bad way to analyze players but he did not do anything in the All-Star game to make me think highly of him. I understand your argument next will be who evaluates someone off an All-Star game. I do! Just like NBA scouts do, as well of  those who are quick to pass judgement off mixtapes which are even worse to evaluate someone off of. No one really and hardly has the opportunity to watch games of every HS kid so you judge off what you have. There is no such thing in my book as a second impression.

 I never written anything about Noah because I was always lukewarm on him. However, seeing him in college I  do see the Chris Bosh comparison. Except a bootleg version because he isn’t as tall or athletic as Bosh. He does look like he’ll fill out much more then Bosh though judging by his build right now.

 I did not make this thread to call out anyone in particular or name drop because that’s not me. I just wanted to know why he’s such an instant hit amongst everyone when the jury was out a year ago. Me just stating this is irrelevant but I posted a source to refer back to.

 I don’t have any problems per say with this post, but it’s better to make these when people are really adamant about a player upside, talent, skills, potential and future. Because with Noah I didn’t see much of a uproar or divide like for example Dion Waiters, Kevin Love, OJ Mayo and Paul George.

 Also when Julius Randle gets in the league I’m positive one will get made. Because there is a huge divide on how he is going to do and future in the NBA. I believe I’m the very first hater or naysayer of his. If I’m right about him, I’m going to make that post  and rub it in everyone face that got on me. Lol
