Ok, I was not aware of this because I thought the Knicks were done giving away draft picks, but I recentily found out Toronto has the Knicks 2016 unprotected first round pick? Then, I read somewhere its the Nuggets that have the Knicks 2016 pick from the Melo trade. Either way, this really sucks. At least we have a pick in 2015. Hopefully, they sign a bunch of Free agents with this top pick and we can at least start rebuilding something.

Also, is there any possible scenario where they can move Melo for a first round pick in either 2016,17 or 18? There has to be a team out there that would love to add his scoring ability just to give up a future 1st round pick. I would take a 2018 first round pick at this point just to move on from him.

The Knicks may still have four second round picks in the future to send to other teams, plus the 2016 first round pick you mentioned.  While the Raptors do get a pick from New York, the Nuggets can swap their pick for the New York one and then Toronto would get the Denver pick.

It is hard to come up with Carmelo trades that could happen for draft picks, as he has a no-trade clause.  Carmelo to the Lakers, maybe that is possible.  The Lakers have many of their picks in an uncertain spot, as the Nash trade means the Suns have to get one before other teams can.

Houston or Dallas, maybe Miami, the possible destinations for Carmelo seem to be small.

A future first, Lin, Nash to New York for Carmelo.  Best slightly possible deal I can think of that fits the trade rules.  Maybe Lakers need a point guard back, so S Larkin out and maybe R Kelly to Knicks as part of the trade too.
