the_shamwow_guyParticipantPeople always talk about how good Shaq is or how dominate Chamberline was or Russells defense or Waltons all round skills. But you don’t hear much talk about Robinson. In my opinion he is the most underated Hall of famer (and Nate Archibald would come close to) what do you think??

llperezwithout a doubt a great center. But I think he comes up just short when you discuss him with the all-time greats like Olajuwon, Chamberlain, Shaq, Russell. I went to a couple of his games in the early 90’s and he was a stud. But he never won a title as the main man. Also, the year he won mvp, Olajuwon schooled him in the playoffs. I would put Robinson right in line with guys like Ewing and Moses Malone and Dwight Howard.

JoeWolf1He got a lot of criticism for being “too nice” but he dropped 71 on the Clips in 94′ has 20,000+ and 10,000+ , gold medal, NBA Champion, MVP, I think he is in a class ahead of Ewing and Howard but under Olajuwan and O’Neal

llperezWas an elite player and one of the greatest centers to ever play the game. He had a great face up game either shooting the jumper or blowing by his man. He was also one of the best 7 foot athletes ever. He ran the court like a small forward. And he was a dominant defender.
By the time he won titles, his game had slowed down and Duncan was taking over. Robinson also never had exceptionally great low post moves and he was kinda robotic in his movements.

notacowParticipantIt’s what you do with it that counts. Some of the greatest players never could figure out how to lead a team to a championship.
