I ask because I’m a Knick fan but the Nets are moving to my hometown….would I be wrong to go and support the Nets?

btw, I will always want the Knicks to be successful.

If your a homer, you’d support both teams..simple because theyre called the HOME team

But between 2 home teams you always gotta have 1 you like better, despite both teams success’

I can’t ever imagine myself not supporting the Rockets…
I mean, it depends on how long you’ve stuck with the Knicks….

Never switch teams. Ever!!!!!!!! Ride and die with them!!!!!! Even when they suck. One year the Denver Nuggets were on pace to break the NBA record for fewest wins back in the 90s. All I said was “Go Nuggets.” Thank goodness that’s over. lol!

Dhamp…the greatest basketball intellectual in the world. Next to Hubie Brown anyway.

If you live in BK and the Nets move there and win over your heart then go head and switch. But I don’t think it will ever be cool. Im too loyal to a fault. I can be a fan of other organizations but I have my teams I will always stay die hard too. For basketball I am a Knicks fan but always liked Portland as an organization (I guess there my West Coast team). I will never root for them over the Knicks though. When I moved to Miami during their inaugural season, I followed them for a while, but stayed true to the Knicks. I even got in trouble one year because I was an invited guest by the Heat but I wore a Knicks Jesey. I had to put a Heat shirt or put my sweater back on. I chose to put the sweater back on. lol

I’m a root for the home team kind of guy, I’ve never switched teams. The only exceptions I think are 1. Your local team moves or gets disbanded. 2. A team moves to your city and becomes the new home team.

I have always admired the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls will always be my NBA team though I will have favorite players on other teams like LBJ, Wade, Kidd ad others…. The Bulls will always stand out for me if they play against those guys… Ever since the MJ era, I am a die-hard Bulls fan up until his last shot (the pat on the butt of Russell)… Up until that painful rebuilding process where they had to go through including that horrible 1999 season where they had one game wherein they put in 49 points in total-the lowest point total in one game in NBA history (I remember it right, I think it was against the Heat)… Up to the drafting of “hopeful saviors” in Marcus Fizer, Tyson Chandler, Eddy Curry and Jay Williams… I was there cheering a lot for them… Even when they surprise the NBA World for making the playoffs in 2004-05 after going to a very rough 0-9 start… I was excited for them because the core of Ben Gordon, Kirk Hinrich and Luol Deng was good… Even up until they finally brought in franchise changer Derrick Rose, I am still a die-hard fan more than ever!

    GO BULLS!

Whatever team Iguodala gets traded to,if he gets traded, is the team thats my new favorite. I liked Philly when I was younger because of Iverson, but Iguodala is my all-time favorite so where he goes I go. haha
