KevinDurantRocksParticipantOn the 2005 draft? It was pretty decent through out the whole entire thing. Theres notably Chris Paul, Andrew Bogut, Turiaf, Brandon Bass, Nate Robinson, David Lee, Monta Ellis, Deron Williams, and many others. I think it is a pretty good draft not great but good

KevinDurantRocksParticipantThe 2005 draft is looking similiar to the 2010

MagikKnickParticipantYou cant comapre it to the 2010 draft, mainly because we dont know whos in or whos out..
I mean, for the 2009 draft everybody thought Monroe, Davis, Montiejunas, Brackins, Warren, Patterson, James, Aldrich and others would enter..
&All of those guys decided to stay in school, and I doubt it..but they could do it again..
&Yeah, anytime a draft has 50% of those guys still in the league after 4-5 years, you can say it was succesful…
not to mention the 2nd round gems like B. Bass, Ronny Turiaf, Von Wafer, Monta Ellis, Marcin Gortat0 - Posted on: Mon, 07/20/2009 - 8:19am #185203

RickyRubio9ParticipantAfter looking through it, also some players in the 2nd round, Lou Williams who I think can be pretty good in Philly, still young and also Amir Johnson has done well in Detroit.
As for first round, Jarret Jack starting to get it done last season and Fransico Garcia is good. Luther Head was good while with the Rockets, but really dropped off with the new coach. Also another Piston, Jason Maxwell.0 - Posted on: Mon, 07/20/2009 - 8:20am #185205

Bison 49ParticipantYou have … Chris Paul, Andrew Bogut, Turiaf, Brandon Bass, Nate Robinson, David Lee, Monta Ellis, Deron Williams
Other people might have mentioned these guys (had to skim the posts), but here are some more quality players:
– Marvin Williams (not worth #2, but good)
– Felton (quality point guard)
– Charlie Villanueva
– Andrew Bynum
– Jarrett Jack (solid player, not great, but young and a valuable piece to every team he has been on. He will give the Raps a huge boost this coming year).
– Linas Kleiza (not huge stats, but put him on a team where he does not back up Melo, and he could be a lot better).
– Andray Blatche (good value in the 2nd round).
– Ryan Gomes (again a bench player, but a good value in the 2nd round)Still others could emerge (due to their still developing games):
– Martell Webster (if he gets healthy, he is still very young. Not worth #6 yet, but decent, with room to improve)
– Antoine Wright (started getting it, and became a starter for Dallas. he could get more PT and improve further in TO).
– Hakim Warrick (good value at #19).
– Jason Maxiell (plays a huge role off Detroit’s bench, good for a #26, plus he has shown that undersized 4s can hang in the league). There were quite a few good/decent players, with a few great ones (Paul and Williams).

bluedevils12Participantbut i think the 2005 draft may have produced 2 of the greatest point guards to ever play the game. of course referring to CP3 and Dwill. i dont think any other draft can compare to the careers these 2 pgs wil have
