Yeah, you’re right, and I remember Rudy Gay being compared to Scottie Pippen, Ben Gordon being compared to Joe Dumars, and Eddie Griffin (R.I.P) being compared to Tim Duncan. There were many others I saw, but my brain isn’t really working right now (contemporary math is a BEEEEYOOOOTCH). I really hope that they’re talking about playing styles, and not a career foresight.

I made the top 10 ridiculous comparisons this site ever made and the worst one was the DeShawn Stevenson to Michael Jordan, Adam Morrison to Larry Bird… Kwame Brown to Kevin Garnett and Dwight Howard to Kwame Brown… There were ridculous comparisons but there were also hits like Chris Paul to Isiah Thomas… Jason Richardson to Vince Carter… etc…
