Meditated StatesParticipantWith the NBA draft lottery system you can’t even pick the team you think will be the worst. Its all a crap shoot. Detroit has the best chance. They are blowing that team up. He would give them a huge boost.

philflores81Participantthe rockets since tmac and yao is hurt and ron artest thinking about not resigning with the team because it not a contender for the moment

ball4life66ParticipantWho knows. I don’t know why people think John Wall has the spot locked down…he hasn’t even played played a game of college yet. I guarentee most people have not even see Wall play a game in high school and have just watched his highlight tape. Heck most recruiting analyst don’t even have him the #1 player in the nation.

dwat4444ParticipantAgreed, I don’t even think John Wall is the best freshman this year. As to who will be the worst team and have the best chance of getting the number one pick I would go with Sacramento, New York, or Detroit. Sorry NY fans but If you let your 2 best players go(robinson and Lee) your not going to be doing good.

Meditated StatesParticipantHe is not guaranteed number 1. He will be the number 1 pick more than likely though. Blake was predicted to go 1st from the start of the season and he did. Favors is good and someone else might shine, but Wall is going 1st hype factors in like it did with Rubio. He will go 1st unless he gets in trouble.

JNixonParticipantWho do you think is the best freshman?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 06/30/2009 - 4:33pm #173612

dwat4444ParticipantXavier Henry aka the guy that was ranked ahead of Wall the entire year except for the near end of recruiting season. I don’t quite get why he dropped but I still think he’s better.

MattissickParticipantI can see him going with Memphis or Sac. Sac would be nice I don’t think Evans will a point guard for very long in this league. A solid 2 though.

lakanoParticipantI for one think John wall will go number one. I didnt get to see any of his regular games but I did see him at Jordan All-Star game and his ability to blow past people coupled with his size makes him great prospect.
Even though some of his skills probably wont be up to NBA standard after 1 year its his future potential that will have teams willing to risk the first pick on him.

Mr.Duke 1426ParticipantTo answer your statement the reason he dropped is because of his car accident. He missed a good part of the season and was a little more timid gong to the basket. He is my top freshman aswell.

MSNYParticipantwhen redd and bogut miss time, they dont have RJ or Villanueva to lean on anymore. They will have the worst record in the NBA next year.
for atleast 20 games this year im callin the bucks lineup looks like this
PG-Sessions
SG-Bell/Bogans
SF-MbahAmoute/Alaxander
PF-Amir Johnson
C-Kurt Thomas/Gadzuric
(thats horrible)the pistons are gonna make plays in FA so they will be fine, the run and gun game of the knicks makes it hard to come in last place, indiana is a pretty solid team so i dont know how they got into the talk, memphis i think improved enough, sacramento has some good young talent.

goodsontheParticipantwill be the first pick. Dude is gonna tear up the NCAA next year.

mikeyvthedonParticipantWill be the team that gets the first pick in the lottery. This team will be the Guatemala Scorpion Pubes, and they will have a franchise PG. Any other thoughts? Memphis? Detroit?

jaycee24ParticipantI see either Houston or Milwaukee. If the Bucks lose either CV or Sessions they will definitly be the number 1. Houston will be terrible with TMAC and Yao out. Another team that will fall is Dallas. J-Kidd will be gone next year and when Dirk gets injured they wont have anything left. But I’m not sure if Wall will be the #1 fashore. I also like Willie Warren and i think his stock will be detirmined by the success of Stephen Curry. I know they have different styles but both are high scoring combo guards with ?’s toward their PG skills.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI pray the Pacers don’t get the 1st pick… Then I’d be painfully forced to watch Larry Bird draft Luke Harangody over John Wall w/ the pick.

JNixonParticipantI dont know any team in the NBA that would take Henry over Wall in the draft, unless of course Henry has a ridiculous season and Wall has a Jrue Holiday type year, which wont happen
