 The Monroe and Bucks experiment didn’t go as planned but hes a talented big man that could definitely help out a lot of teams in the NBA.  I think the Bulls would be a perfect fit for him.  If Noah and Gasol leave as expected he would fit perfectly with Jimmy Butler.  They are around the same age butler is a year older.  I also think he could fit in Portland. He would be an instant inside scoring upgrade for there dynamic back court and hes the same age as Lillard. One surprise team could be the T-Wolves. Hes older then Wiggins and Towns but hes better then anyone they could get with there pick.  Other teams That come to mind are the Celtics and Pacers.

If Horford leaves, I would welcome Monroe with open arms.

Definitely a downgrade, but keeps them competitive even in a mini-rebuild.

The Knicks with Porzingis,that could be a great combo,Monroe needs a good defensive partner in the front court so the Pelicans with Davis is the kind of interesting option.

 If NO is willing to part with a package built around Jrue Holiday I could see that deal working out for both sides (especially if the can grab Dunn on draft night or if Tyreke Evans can bounce back well from the injuries). Also Monroe is from Louisiana so he wouldn’t be in a rush to leave if things don’t work out initially.

Like the Hawks suggestion…I think he could be a good fit for the Bulls. With Joakim Noah not coming back and no legit center on their roster, he could come in and be a quality starter. He can also showcase his passing skills in the high post with Fred Hoiberg’s offense.

 I’m not ruling out a desperate move from the suns on Monroe, before or after the draft…

Blazers seems like a natural fit, they tried with RFA hibbert and Kanter in the past, he was probably on the replacement list for Aldridge.

They don’t have many assets tho.

I think an underrated destination for him could be Portland. He would add some offense to a frontcourt that lacks offensive firepower. His defensive deficiencies would be masked by an athletic front court that features some solid defense. He’s a good passer out of the post and provides a 3rd solid scoring option for the Trailblazers.

Then  Draft Poeltl,Davis or trade out of the tenth for  Stone or Jones at 16… or go Zizic,Hammons,Onuaku,Papagiannis etc bpa big at 36/38

or just keep him and draft Moussa Diagne at 38 .not to be confused with moustapha diagne.

I posted last year a trade along the lines of Monroe and MCW to the Pelicans for Ryan Anderson and Jrue Holiday. Still like it for both teams. Gives the Bucks shooting, while both going to New Orleans seem to fit well

 Portland, Boston have cap space so look good fits. Who knows if a team like the Lakers might consider him given their cap space but sending assets back would be an issue.

Dallas might try to work a deal too.

Charlotte and Washington have cap space and want to try and continue moving forward or move forward.

As regards Memphis, I always wonder if Pau Gasol might return home to team up with little brother Marc and allow himself and Z-Bo to share minutes.
