Tobe BryantParticipantLooks as if the Lakers aren’t build to make any deep championship runs. As a fan, its a Laker tradition to make shake up trades at the year’s end. Here are some off-season moves that can be explored by L.A.
Lakers move Pau Gasol to Sixers for Jrue Holiday, Andre Iguodala.
Lakers also trade Steve Blake, Josh McRoberts to the Nets and receive Anthony Morrow.
Lakers sign Lamar Odom with their 3 mil. MLE.
Sixers get a good PG in Jordan Farmar, opens up the 3 spot for Thaddeus young to start at, and also get a solid big coming from a bad system in L.A. Doug Collins will make great use of Gasol and also give Evan Turner the chance to play that great all-around game with more ball-handling responsibility. The bench loses some punch, but Sam Young can step up, Lou Williams will be good if signed back and the Sixers still have Lavoy Allen and others off the pine.
The Nets get to open up more playing time for an improved Gerald Green and scoring rookie Marshon Brooks by trading Anthony Morrow. Josh McRoberts is a slightly athletic body that can do some work with Deron Williams and possibly Dwight Howard? Steve Blake is a nice veteran backup if they retain D.Will.
Lakers pick up a young and athletic PG in Holiday that has improved yearly. I say they let Sessions continue a reserve role because he isn’t ready for the starter role in L.A. Iguodala would be PERFECT alongside Kobe playing a Pillsbury role. He handles the ball and defends at an extremely high level! Signing Odom will finally get his head back on straight and he can get back to creating mismatches on the floor. Odom or Iguodala could handle the ball a lot, and unlike Pau who was lost on the perimeter a lot, Odom would be comfortable there. The Lakers could actually start or use World Peace off the bench, and at times play Bryant, Iggy, Odom and World Peace letting LO bring the ball up creating a terror for opposing bigs!
This is just my fantasies going wild though. Pay me no mind to my premature notions. Enjoy the season! #ThunderUp!

Tobe BryantParticipantMorrow adds a great shooter to the WORST bench in the league. This trade works on the Trade Machine as well, so it is a long shot possibility!

GrandmamaParticipantLakers move Pau Gasol to Sixers for Jrue Holiday, Andre Iguodala
That’s about the last thing that would happen…The Sixers would never accept that.

Philadelphia would say no in a heartbeat.

TyroberParticipantLamar Odom isn’t going back to the Lakers. The whole reason they traded him was because he was so upset he got traded for Chris freaking Paul. He should have been proud to have been traded for the best PG in the game.

sheltwon3ParticipantHonestly that is not a terrible trade but I don’t see why Lakers would do it because Ron Artest is still a pretty good defender and is Iggy really that much better than him. Holiday is a good pick up but If you trade Gasol unless you know Odom is coming back for sure and that he can play well, you trade Gasol for a big man or top 8 point guard. They should try to grab Bledsoe from Clippers. Clippers used to be dumb enough to do these kinds of moves.

TheDagger40ParticipantSixers get a good PG in Jordan Farmar,
Was I the only one who laughed at that?

TheMOSTHATEDoneParticipantThis kind of crazy rebuilds. NBA 2k made.
But as always, Lakers are one of the most powerful organizations if not the most, free agents always die to play in LA.
They will build via free agency as always in no time. (and they get some gifts ejem trades done sometimes)

sithlord06ParticipantThe Lakers trade Bynum for D Howard in a sign and trade deal. Lakers then move Blake to the Pacers for George Hill, a nice tall and athletic PG that can score and defend (WESTBROOK). The Lakers quietly let go of Metta World Peace and Matt Barnes for some athletic wings that may be available, possibly lure Gerald Wallace to the Lakers, someone that can defend Durant and get open court dunks and shoot threes.
