QuickPostCParticipantI feel the need to air some grievances about a few NBA topics that are frankly making me angry:
-The fact that Nick Young is still allowed to play 30+ min a night and jack up shot after shot while the team loses by 20 and gives up 100+ pts every game……………for the love of God bench his ass…..he (hopefully) won’t be back with the team next year and he is beyond worthless on defense! I would rather the see the Wizards average 70 pts. per game and lose by 25 than continue seeing this sh**. They are going to lose either way…..at least have the mantra that you are going to play brutal defense and frustrate the hell out of the opposing team while losing 90-70….the opposing may win by a lot but they aren’t going to have fun.
– I’m mad that the Kings continue to try and start either Thornton or Jimmer next to Tyreke. They are not starters! They are defensively worthless. I would rather have had them sign a vet like Keith Bogans and play him 25 a night. Sure they would be playing 4 on 5 on the offensive end but from the looks of it the Kings play ‘1 on 5’ offense already.
– I’m mad the Utah Jazz are winning…..and I’m a Jazz fan. Thats right Im mad because Kanter, Burks and Favors aren’t getting enough minutes and they have taken themselves out of the possibility of adding another top 5 talent in this years draft. I may be greedy but teams win with top players in this league…..
– I’m mad Paul Silas still has a job. It’s not that he’s ineffective……John Wooden couldn’t even win with this sorry-a$$ roster that has less talent than some NBDL teams…..it’s that he is full of it and stupid. He actually used the semi-excuse that his team is playing this bad because his top two players (Augustin and Maggette) are out. Is he crazy? I can’t believe the man had the gall to say that…I mean who are they in his eyes? Rose and Lebron? Even with them his team would have lost by 25……..AND he keeps playing worthless veterans like Thomas, Carroll and Diaw. Put in the young kids and lose by 40….who gives…..that way Diaw can sit on the bench eating airheads and fried oreos all game (we all know he wants to).
What NBA topic this season makes some of you mad?
(And btw when I say mad I mean pi$$ed……but lets keep it clean-ish)

Wavy BagelsParticipantAndrew Bogut getting hurt yet again angered me. Guy can’t catch a break. Also, and most importantly for me, Manu Ginobili getting hurt early on because he was trying to steal a ball.

db24kb24ParticipantDavid Stern rescinding the CP3 trade killed my (Lakers) season…thus far. Who does that? thats player hating at it’s finest

GottaBeTheShoesParticipantI hate the heat topic. Its almost gotten worse in some ways this year. ESPN makes it a HUGE deal if the heat lose and start a never-ending saga of what will happen with Erik Spoelstra. Let the heat be.. If there wasn’t media there would be less hate for the heat. I hate the heat’s media and coverage but not exactly the heat as much. I just find the team annoying but all the hype, drama that the heat brings through media gets me ticked off. Espn even has their own Heat Reaction after every game. Where is the one for the other 29 teams? Thunder Reaction? Bulls Reaction? 76ers? Pacers?

river09ParticipantPersonally the whole lockout thing really threw me off…

lisergxParticipantUtah is really good but all I see them doing is probably losing in the first round of the playoffs, THEY NEED TO PLAY FAVORS, KANTER AND BURKS!!!!! I would have wanted them to get either Tony Wroten Jr or Micheal Kidd-Gilchrist.
The Knicks…enough said

BrentSuriaga01ParticipantThis guy stresses me a lot. Why can’t he just retire so that the Blazers could look for a center.

BrentSuriaga01ParticipantI’m angry because blatche is the captain of the wizards. Why would he deserve such position

db24kb24ParticipantThe title of being captain of the Wizards is more of an insult than something that is sought after. They probably had to draw sticks or did the noses thing, and he lost.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantAmar’e Stoudemire
Haters on Blake Griffin’s dunk
Haters on LeBron’s alley-oop
And most importantly, David Stern playing NBA God and vetoing a trade.0 - Posted on: Thu, 02/02/2012 - 7:03pm #631609

Scottoant93ParticipantLockout
David stern vetoing trade
Another year of fa drama this time with dwight and deron williams.
People jumping on and off player bandwagons calling them stars one minute and overated the next.

F_DA_POParticipantDwight Howard. I wanna see the guy playing for a better team, but it’s getting really annoying at this point.

Mr. 19134ParticipantDwight Howard’s mess in Orlando is probably the thing that has me mad. I don’t like the way he’s going about anything he’s doing. He seems like he wants to give up on his team which to me is a mortal sin and he still cries to much about calls.
Deron Williams has really turned me into a fan by taking the situation he’s been given and making the most out of it. He remains optimistic about that franchise even when the most die hard fans will express their doubt. The roster he has been given to play with is just shameful. Shawne and Sheldon Williams both starting in the NBA on the same team? Amazing and moreover he’s rallied his team to a few wins in the past few games.
I was lovin Utah before the season absolutely knowing they were the next Thunder. They were going to have 2 lotto picks and just stockpile talent on talent. But know they are winning and the Warriors are losing and the pick from them is top 7 protected so it’s looking like they aren’t going to have one lotto pick. How do you go from 2 to none?
But the thing that has me most mad if the fact that Evan Turner still isn’t starting. The Sixers are winning and I’m thrilled especially the way they are beating teams but if we don’t start taking the training wheels off Turner how is this guy going to blossom? He’s been great this season even if his stats only tell a fraction of the story. He’s been playing great defense and making great descisions with the ball. But he’s only been playing 26 mpg which has me upset as I watch the likes of Greg Monroe and Paul George blossom with more time and responsibility.

mcbaileyParticipantI was upset with the lockout. I was a bit miffed with the trade veto. Dwight Howard’s situation is frustrating.
However, the things that made me the maddest were things that related to my team but wasn’t a big deal to non-Indy fans. Derrick Rose whining about the Pacers celebrating after their win, and Kevin Love being a punk on the court and acting like he was the victim in the post-game interview. These things weren’t huge stories or even huge deals, but at the time…man, I was annoyed.

Jean_31ParticipantThe Derrick Williams situation is frustrating too. Some night he doesn’t play more than 10 min and is effective when he play. They play Tolliver and beasley over him

Mr. ChicagoParticipantHe is one of the most overrated players in the league.
He plays zero defense and is a definitive ball stopper on offensive., and he is a terrible passer. When will this guy learn that he has to transform his talents into a ‘team’ game. He has to do more than just put up 25 points a night on over 25 shots.
This irritates me even more, because I was a huge fan of his Syracuse team that won it all, and was really excited when he came into the league. I thought he could be a transcendant player, but he just leaves me wanting more and wishing he cared about winning as much as he did jacking up pointless shots in Madison Square Garden.
