     Some will assume I am a Kobe fan, actually am NOT… But come on he has 5400 assists and a career average of 4.7.

    George Gervin 2.8 apg in NBA

    Iverson 6.2 apg

    Drexler 5.1 apg

    Mitch Richmond 3.5 apg

    Reggie Miller 3.0 apg

    Mullin 3.5 apg

    I am aware Kobe played in a triangle and never really with a great pg but compare him to other high volume scoring sg and he clearly not a refuse to pass guy. Sadly somewill I actually a Kobe fan… Not but will give the devil his due.

    I remember when he had the 81 point game…… he also had 2 assists in that game.

    in ’02-’03 he avg 5.9 assists per game, in comparison no SG came even close this season to this avg

    T-Mac averaged 5.5 that year.  And scored 2 more ppg than Kobe.

    Of course Kobe is going to average a ton of assists, he has the ball in his hand more than any other player in the league. He set the NBA record this past season in usage rate with 39%. I’m not hating Kobe is one of the best shooting guards ever but his assist numbers are overrated
