L.ShapParticipantIs he in the 2009 draft or not? I heard he’s going to Europe but he’s still in the draft. How does this work?

j1232eParticipantcan draft him and buy his contract out or leave him overseas for a couple years then bring him to your team when he has developed.

The MantisParticipantIf his Greek contract is easy/cheap to get out of, I see no reason why he couldn’t go late 1st round. If he goes 2nd round, he’ll probably stay in Europe for a year before he comes over. He may actually prefer that because he wouldn’t be bound by the 1st round rookie salary cap…..and if he does well over in Europe he could get a contract for significantly more than he would as a late 1st round rookie.

Meditated StatesParticipantI know he can shoot and dish real well. His rebounding numbers are pretty good too. I think that kid has potential to be a good starting point, but he might have trouble guarding guys.

maravich44ParticipantWouldn’t mind seeing Bulls take him at 26 if Hansborough isn’t around. That’s looking less likely by the day. I think he will be a good big/combo guard.

The MantisParticipantI think he would duplicate alot of what Hinrich offers, but I guess you can never have too many guys that can play some PG.
