GreenLanternParticipantIf the Clips get the #1 pick again, does anybody here think they are a lock for the playoffs in 2011? Also, for those who believe the lottery is fixed, which teams do yall think are in the running according to the current standings?

The8thDeadlySinParticipantWhat if. . . I lived my life based on conspiracies and “What if’s??” They wont get the #1 pick again and how do you fix balls bouncing around in a machine?? BTW, Green Lantern is one of my favorite superheros.

GreenLanternParticipantLol Deadly Sin! I was just having a little fun with the question! And hey, if you don’t believe in conspiracies then you can’t say the Clips getting the #1 pick isn’t a POSSIBILITY as a random occurance. And yeah, Green Lantern rocks.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantI look at it in terms of odds. They arent going to have the best chance to win it again and has there been a team have 2 #1 picks in a row ever??? I dont think so, but I have been wrong before. I leave the conspiracies to the SciFi channel.

quincey hodgesthey still probably wont make it…you have to remeber they are the clippers..they could get 3 number one picks and someway some how they still will end up not making it

GreenLanternParticipantLol quincey harsh dude! A Wall-Griffin tandem would be nasty though. With the Clips luck, they would end up with the #2 pick and be forced to take Favors to add to their stacked frontcourt.

joecheck88ParticipantI believe the magic had 2 #1 picks in the early 90’s. with Chris webber(traded soon after) and shaq being the picks

MagikKnickParticipantthat would be sick…
John Wall
Eric Gordan
and Blake Griffinand i mean, im not the type of guy to believe in a “curse” but the Clippers franchise has seemed o be very unlucky..
and just when they seem to get lucky, it always goes upside down (ex: Getting 1st overall pick, 1st overall pick being injured for the majority of the season)

j1232eParticipantI want to see wall be a superstar, the clipps power will ruin him!

WhyParticipantNBA is my favorite sport so it hurts to say this…but yes, the lottery has to be fixed…I mean come on. Way too often does the worst team (worst record) not get the number 1 pick. Do I think they deliberately put each franchise in an exact spot? No, but I definitely think the NBA tries to help some teams maybe a little more than others…I mean Chicago getting D-Rose, Ewing going to NY, little things just make you wonder…

MATAParticipanti’d love for dude to end up a knick quincey but that’s probably not gonna happen.he’s tailor made for the knicks though.damn.
and if the clippers won the lotto, john wall would be screwed.all there number 1 overall picks either blow or get hurt.

quincey hodgesoh wait the knicks dont have a lotto pick..and sorry supernova the clippers still suck enough to get a lotto pick because they will be in the lotto..and they re still a couple games under 500 aren’t they?
