Anyone remember Steve Logan on that Cincy team a while back? He was a great player and a great leader. He had so many epic games with Dwayne Wade too. I remember he got drafted by the Warriors and was pretty hyped to see him play, but I never heard of him again. Anyone know what happened to him?

I think he was alittle too small and he wasnt quite the athlete he needed to be for his size and he wasnt a true PG. If your 5’11 or 6’0 like he was you have to either be really quick or an explosive athlete or both, especially if your a combo guard. And he was neither, so he didnt last in the NBA.

I remember dude looked like dmx. But there was just nothing too special about him. He was small and settled for a lot of jumpers.

He didn’t make the NBA, but he’s made a living playing overseas. I’m sure he’s not complaining.

Ha ha ha. Good ole Steve Logan. Man those were some tuff Cinny teams featuring Keyon Martin and company. Yeah, Logan went suprising low in the draft. Many expected him to be a late first-round pick. He lack of height, I think, hurt him the most. Boy could he play. The same exact situation happened to his teammate, Kenny Saterfield. Add DeMarr Johnson and not that many players besides K-Mart really made it. Funny think is, K-Mart was barely a top 100 recruit coming out of high school. He blossomed late.

Wasn’t Pete Michael on that squad too? That Cincinatti team was tough though. They would’ve won it if Kenyon Martin hadn’t have broken his leg.

logan was a beast..and those games back when cincy and marquette were in conf usa were nasty and louisville was too…but overall like alot of smaller college guards who are great college players always seem to have to go overseas to have the same impact as they did in college

Tezo83, Good pickup on the Pete Michael. Didn’t he briefly play for the Knicks? He was a good player. And you have to thank Bob Huggins for putting those teams together. I remember they had Depual and Quetin Richardson down by 9 points with 1 min and 30 sec to play and Depaul came back. Richardson throw up a shot from about half-court a the buzzard that almost counted. Yeah, if Martin didn’t break his leg late in the season, they would have won.

Yea Cincy was real nice before Kenyon broke his leg, I think they wouldve won the title..

Hell Yes! i was just think about him and hollis price they were two of my favorite players back in the day. I think wade and logan only played 1 year vs each other i rememeber reece gaines and wade battlin it out every game. MU-Louisville was epic there for a couple years there
