For the past 2yrs all the talk out of camp Knicks has been about Lebron coming to town… If Lebron signs else where will Amare be enough for Knick fans? and with no other REAL talent on that roster ( and gallnari/chandler are not guys going to get u any where in the NBA) and no other real guards available to sign…. will the guy who couldnt get it done with the 2 time m.v.p Really be enough? or has the knicks fallen so far that Amare is a WIN?

Well, the Suns didn’t get it done last year and I would have to say that Amare had a much better team surrounding him in Phoenix than he does in NY, right now anyway. If the Knicks don’t bring anyone else in, they might make the playoffs, but I don’t see them getting past the first round.

I think we will have to see because New York young talent is underapreciated but they do need a point guard or Lebron type player to make plays

He talked all this shyt like he wanted to play for a contender and that Philly wasn’t one of them….Well to be honest the Sixers are 100 times better than the Knicks….If he had just shut his mouth and played ball he’d have Holiday, Turner, M16, Hawes and Thad to run with…Now The Knicks have Toney Douglas, Bill” I can’t stay healthy to save my life” Walker, Danilo ” See Bill Walker and add in the fact I’m the overrated Knicks player in franchise History” Gallinari….I wont even count Chandler….He’s a glorified back up…

Is it just me or do the NY fans hype up Galloand Chandler like the next Dirk and Shawn Marion???

They are no where those players caliber and we all know it…keep hyping them up NY….Nobody else believes you….

Pick up a Copy of the Lastest BBall Game( 2k10 or Live) and see what the Game devolopers and scouts think of Gallo….He’s rated a 54 to start and 61 after update…Chandler was 63 and didn’t improve with any updates….Keep dreaming NY…. They are not ALL stars or untouchable building blocks…

Gallinari and Chandler are both young and good role players. Toney Douglas has shown some promise as well

Yeah…because Knick fans are the ONLY fan base to hype up there young players..

Have you heard some of the comparisons for players on the Sixers?

    Jrue Holiday is Rondo
    Speights is Al Jefferson
    T. Young is an athletic Antawn Jamison
Turner is a non-athletic Lebron [Yes, I have heard that…]

Point is, every teams fans hype up there young players…so we’ll keep dreaming, along with the other 29 NBA teams in the league which you seem to neglect..

but living in toronto i understand how a team that has below avg talent can make those players look like the next coming… the toronto maple leafs(hockey team) has some of the weakest talent in the nhl but leafs fans here in toronto do nothing but overate these srubs…. doesnt that sound familiar knick fans

You are basing a players value by what a video game creator thinks? And you think David Kahn has problems?

If the Knicks don’t get LeBron, I think they will be a lottery team again…

Why is Amare that much of an upgrade to David Lee?? You’re just paying twice the price for the ESPN highlight guy.

Seems like a classic Knicks type move.

    Magiknick. I LOVE THE PHOTO.

No, the Knicks still have many options. I also read where the Spurs might deal Tony Parker for Toney Douglas and a Trade exception. I would be sad if NY doesn’t get LeBron but if we get Tony Parker and Amar’e- Team them with Gallo? Also, we could still use Lee’s right for a S&T because we would not be over the cap with the addition of Parker.

We have 4 good pieces to make a playoff run. We have a 2011 1st round pick and Eddy Curry’s contract on the books.

Visual Concepts….They dont’ make up the rating system….They hire Pro Scouts to tell them every aspect of a players game and what they do against other players better or worse…

Guys like Gallo and Chandler have little to no real NBA talent…Gallo is a 3 point specialist that isn’t really all that special and Chandler is an athlete that can’t dribble, drive or hit a consistent jumper…besides fast breaks and clear path dunks he’s useless….Those are the notes from Scouts….

Don’t hate he player, hate the Games Creators>>>>lol

here is a Philly fans real comparisons for Sixer’s Players

Holiday=Gary Payton 2.0…Haters watch him shut your best guard down and still get 20 points

Thaddeus Young= A Left handed Rashard Lewis or more athletic Toni Kukoc with less vision

Marresse Speights = Joe Smith at worst and a poor mans Amare at best…

Evan Turner= A young Penny with less flair or Grant Hill with vision…At best he’ll be less athletic Scottie Pippen/Penny Hardaway with the Magic or Grant Hill with the Pistons….I don’t see Brandon Roy at all…

Spencer Hawes= Brad Miller with the Kings at best …or Matt Geiger at worst…

Lou Williams= A poor man Monte Ellis or Leondro Barbosa….instant offense…Is NOT a Pg…and should be benched or traded to NY…

Andre Iguadola= Scottie Pipen 2.0….he’s the most well rounded Sf in the Game…He can defend, score, rebound and pass the ball like a guard…name me a More versitile SF right Now not named Lebron…

Melo…Iggys a better defender and passer than Melo…
    KD…See Melo…
Rudy Gay…No passing skill and Defense is suspect….he’s the poor man’s Durant with no D…
Pierce…old and can’t pass or defend better than Andre…

He’s the total package at Sf…

Alot of people compare but if you look at the archives no one does it more then knick fans and it isn’t even close. Last season Sergio came and all of a sudden he’s the next futre pg of the knicks with great 48min per avgs. Same with Darko. As far as what Amare means for the knicks…..not awhole lot. They aren’t much better. Amare is better then lee but take into account Amare had Nash yet he didn’t score much more then lee and got less boards. Now subtract Nash and how much different is Amare then lee? Neither does much on defense. Amare does bring hope and more excite ment which is what the knicks need. The fans overrate Chandler and Douglass though. Both are backups on a playoff team. Amare is a very good start in the rebuilding process though. As constructed they aren’t close to a playoff team and even with Parker and other free agents not named lebron,Wade they are years from contenders

I think they get another player or two. To be honest I hope they get lebron just to see him and Amare on sportcenter top plays every other night. Either way lakers still have no threats from the east that scares me. Only thing that that stop us from another title is injuries
