gatorheelsParticipantKenneth Faried- I saw him play in person once this season & I wasn’t really impressed. He didn’t stand out in anyway. Even though he did put up solid stats. I didn’t see an nba player. Might end up in the D-league.
Aubrey Coleman- I’ve watched Houston about 3 times this season. Coleman is just a gunner, he can score but mainly by taking a lot of shots & overpowering smaller guard when he penetrates. I don’t think he can score effeciently in the nba. He isn’t a PG, seems to be an undersized SG. He rebounds really good but can he really do that in the nba…I doubt it. He should get drafted mid 2nd round. People don’t know this but I’ll go ahead & drop some knowledge..haha..Coleman is going to get drafted because of his defense not his offensive stats. If he makes it in the nba, it will be because he is a really good defender not because he can score.
Jeremy Hazell- maybe a 2nd round pick in 2011. He can score but he takes a ton of shots & a lot of bad ones at that. Plus he is skinny & his defense is pretty terrible. All he does is score basically. I don’t think he will ever be a factor in the nba.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantWith the success Marcus Thornton is having in New Orleans, I think some teams will be less afraid of Aubrey Coleman being a JUCO guy, but he isn’t as efficient of a scorer as Thornton. I think he will probably be a bubble 2nd rounder depending on how he does in March and the pre-draft stuff. He will certainly be on a summer league team.
Hazell screams D-League, but if you were to put an over/under of 0.5 on the number of NBA games he plays in, I’d go over. I think he will be on an NBA roster at some point, maybe not for long, but at some point.
I don’t think Moore is a lesser player than Jason Richards or Jared Jordan were when they were pegged as sleeper Nash-type true points, but he won’t get the look they did in training camp unless he somehow leads the Vegas summer league in assists.
Crawford could eventually be an NBA player if he stays at Xavier and works on his game. If he tries to come out this year, he’ll be a D-League lifer.
Pullen is another guy who I think is a lock to be on a summer league team and probably in training camp. I just don’t know if he’ll be able to shoot his way onto a team. As hot as he is now is as cold as he was last year. A bad week in training camp sends him to Israel or Turkey.

JNixonParticipantJeremy Hazell- Seton Hall: He is a high volume scorer. Nothing more nothing less. He will probably be a D-League all-star. He can get hot, but he can also shoot you out of games. And he doesn’t really defend very well. Late 2nd round player
Dominique Jones- USF—I think he’s the best scorer in college basketball. Not Jeremy Hazell. He goes about his scoring more efficiently than Hazell, but with must less talented teammates. I think he can be a quality starter in the NBA at best. Maybe a Randy Foye type player. I would definitely take him in the 1st round.
Edwin Ubiles- Siena: I LOVE Ubiles upside. He’s similar to guys like Earl Clark and Xavier Henry in that his size pops off the TV screen at you. He’s a good athlete and he lets the game come to him. He’s also a jack-of-all-trades-master-of-none type, so he should find a niche to be the best player possible. He’s a 2nd round prospect.
Jordan Crawford- Xavier: He’s famous for dunking on Lebron but he’s not the best prospect to me. He’sgot a quick 1st step and is scoring good in the A-10, but he can be taken out of games if a good defender is matched up with him. I think he’s an overseas player.
Jacob Pullen- Kansas State: He’s my favorite player in college basketball. He is very important to K-State, my favorite team. He’s a shooter 1st and foremost and not a true PG, but boy is he good when he gets going. He’s a very underrated defender as well, just ask Jordan Crawford and LaceDarius Dunn. He is held back by his size, lack of athleticism and quickness, and below average ball-handling for a guard though. He could be a Eddie House type player though if everything goes perfectly for him.
