    Raptors Discussed Anthony Carter For Lin Trade With Knicks

    Feb 14, 2012 2:10 PM EST

    The Knicks and Raptors discussed a trade of Anthony Carter for Jeremy Lin.

    New York was interested in bringing back Carter to bring stability to the point guard position.

    “We knew one thing about him after bringing (Lin) in,” said Bryan Colangelo. “We knew he was one tough kid.

    “He took one of the hardest hits I’ve ever seen on a court and one of the toughest falls. He got hit from behind, crashed to the floor, eventually got up. We didn’t think he’d get up, to be honest. And he shook it off and continued the workout.

    “We were extremely impressed by that.”

    If that trade happened for the Raptors, I’d be one happy camper. Lin is playing really well right now and he is an upgrade over Anthony Carter. Btw, it kind of shows the Knicks weren’t as keen as of Lin as we’d like to think if they were discussing that trade.
     
    SECONDLY, I was thinking of some trade offers for Steve Nash and I came up with two. Let me know what y’all think of it.

    Lin would never have the same success with the raptors. D’antoni is one of the main reasons why this kid is doing so well. A true point guards coach. I think the Knicks have a chance.

    Those trades are terrible.

    Zero way that Phoenix does either of those deals.

     The Knicks have a chance at what?  The playoffs?

    And the Lakers wouldn’t trade Pau just for Nash and filler.

    As said above me, not a chance. The Suns owner is cheap as hell and would never take back the abortion of contracts like Martin, Scola, and especially Ron Artest.
