So while the off-season is rolling on, what are you guys looking forward to the most next season?

#1: Indiana Pacers vs New York Knicks – Now it may not be the rivalry it once was, but to me both teams are on the rise and more in particular I am really looking forward to Turner vs Porzingis. I really think both these guys could be stars in the league and I look forward to them both developing on play-off teams which will really help them.
Rose, Lee, Anthony, Porzingis, Noah vs Teague, Ellis, George, Young, Turner they are both talented starting line-ups the Rose vs Teague one really intrigues me and he may not be the MVP Rose, but I think they are very similar in talent which should create a nice 4-game series, I would love these two to some how match-up in the play-offs again.

#2: Sophomores – I touched on Turner and Porzingis, but there is so much talent from last year as well.
KAT – Franchise talent lets see what he can do in Minny and could he make All-Star team as soon as next season.
Russell – Excited to see how Walton uses him, he has a lot of talent just needs to see how he goes.
Okafor – Throw-back dominant low-post scorer who could be on a new team, but his game is a joy to watch and could be dominant for a long time.
Booker – Always think Ray Allen when I see him and Ray was one of my faves along with Reggie, gotta love shooters.
Not too mention Winslow, Mudiay, Johnson, Lyles, Portis and Jokic.

#3: Denver Nuggets – This team has SO MUCH talent I really just want to see how they use it. They have loaded back-court with Mudiay, Harris, Barton, Murray, Beasley and bigs in Jokic, Nurkic, Lauvergne, Hernangomez, Faried, Arthur. They have plenty of SF talent in Gallo, Chandler and Miller as well. I hope they have a solid season, but would love to see them trade for a Star not sure who though.

I’m hypped for NBA and NCAA basketball.

I wish I was more hypped for the Olympics but theres just something about international basketball that just feels like its losing relevance.

NCAA: I’m keen to see who wins the Duke vs Kentucky recruiting battle. Both teams cleaned up, now to watch them play. Also, I like St Marys and think they are a sleeper to make the Final 4 with their returning class.

Non-NCAA bound prospects: I like watching trailblazers like Jennings, Mudiay and Maker take alternative routes to the NBA. Terrence Ferguson is coming to the Australian League, and I hope he does well so more follow in his foot steps. Even if he doesnt get drafted, he’ll make enough money in 6 mths to buy himself a degree.

NBA: I already know it will be CLE vs GSW pt III so Im not hypped for that. Instead I’ll watch teams with the young stars like Jazz, Twolves, Lakers, Bucks and Philly games. Im more interested in who wins the ‘U24 Championship’ than CLE vs GSW part III.

Tanking: Sam Hinkie wont be out of a job long. Considering that Philly has taken all the heat for the strategy and come out the other side, whoever does it next will get off easy since its no longer controversial. Im sorta hoping for a farsical situation where 3 or 4 teams decide to tank hard and it becomes a race to the bottom. Could see a team win between 0 and 3 games to ensure a top pick if the draft class has several cant-miss prospects.

Emmett Naar is another in a long line of excellent Aussie St Mary’s point guards. I think the final four is a little high for them, but I see them making the tourney and probably the Sweet 16.

He’ll be back man. My prediction is within 12 mths. The 76ers are going to dominate soon…other unethical teams will be envious.

You do realize the 76ers only received the 1st pick after they canned Hinkie.. and never received it while he was in the sixers front office.. So one could argue getting rid of Hinkie actually is what landed Simmons.. All Hinkie did was logjam the Forward and Center position..

As a Jazz fan I’m looking forward to how Lyles plays this year, he has a great skill set and for a 6’10 kid the sky is the limit.

I too love Turner and Porzingis and both should have exciting years.

Maker is a player I was high on and so I hope he has a good rookie season.

How Jabari and Gianni’s play will be interesting and they should show improvement.

Should be a fun year, Go Jazz.

will either fight for the 8th seed or finish in last place. There’s no in-between.

After a very disappointing season, I think my Rockets are going to surprise people. I think Harden has his best year yet after being left off every all-NBA team (!?!). I love the additions of Gordon and Anderson, they’ll provide the floor spacing Houston really lacked last year, and as someone mentioned in a thread earlier, I think Capela takes a major step forward.

I don’t expect this team to be a championship contender with how strong the West is and with D’antoni running the show, but I really do believe they can get 4th seed in the West.

ball…… I can Not remember a Draft as Deep as the 2017 Draft……. It is absolutely Mind-Boggling the Talent in the 1st round & especially the Top 10

There are a Few teams that should be in the Lottery that will be able to take a Majot step forward by Drafting One of these kids (or Two in Philly’s case)

& the Knicks & Celtics should both land a Big Time Franchise Piece as well…..

And I also am really excited to see Last year’s Rookie class play their Sophomore Season & I am really excited to see the Rookies from 2016

& Joel Embiid…. I don’t ever remember seeing a kid w/ more "Strengths" in the Draft Express break down Videos – he was a Freak in college & he’s 2 inches taller now & Jacked up — he looks like Kareem on Steroids – I’m Excited to see this kid on the court w/ Ben Simmons & Okafor

& I’m real excited to see D’Angelo Russell & Brandon Ingram play together — I absolutely Luv this young Talent on Historically Great Franchises
