XYRYXParticipantAs a Thunder fan I’m biased about him for sure but I truely believe that without his mindset, his strong motor and his unlimited confidence he wouldn’t be playing among the best after all what happend to him since his initial injury in last years playoffs.
The good thing with his 2nd and 3rd surgery was that they all have been preventive procedures and that he didn’t really broke down again before he needed them. One thing that has to be mentioned is the mental part of having 3 surgeries within a year on one knee when you’re an explosive player like him. There has to be confidence to come back from this strong and for sure he is one of the few players who can / has managed this. I don’t want to draw comparisons since they both had very different injuries and Rose is not the Robin to KD in Chicago and had A TON of more pressure as the francises savior but we all saw how big this mental thing really is to an athlete.
I hope we don’t see so many All Star / All NBA players go down with major injuries in this years playoffs and we see the best teams and players go at each other for the crown!

lalailaParticipantI thought you were going to say Westbrook was the best pg in a game..
especially after dominating against Clippers last night..
and it might be true if Paul is the best TRUE PG, Wesbrook can easily compare with him for the best PLAYER playing PG position.. he is top5 in the NBA at least..
Did you guys noticed Russell because of his injuries is playing only 30.6 minutes.. and still gets almost 22/6/7 plus his 44fg % doesn’t look terrible anymore..
his per36 stats are 25.4ppg 6.5rpg 8.2apg 2.2spg adding what is his team record that’s easily the 3rd most impressive stat line in the league..
he is a warrior!

jwall1ParticipantI love Westbrook. Amazing that he has come back so quickly and has still been the explosive Westbrook we are used to. One of my favorite players in the league.
