Just got through watching him in the scrimmage and then interviews afterwards.  He looked real nice during the game.  He has a nice demeanor about him too.  He talks a lot like Kobe; very professional and something almost sly about him, maybe its a cool confidence idk.  But if that helps him at all become half of what Kobe is I would be very pleased.

My goals/wishes/expectations for Wes this season…

    1.  Stay injury-free or "major" injury-free "knock knock"

    2.  Pick up the flow of the triangle offense

    3.  Understand your role.  No need to force anything, which I am not worried about from his style of play.  Minimize turnovers.

    4.  Statistically speaking…12-14 ppg, 5-6 rbs, 2-3apg, 1 steal, .6 blk

    5.  And what I feel will be crucial, forming a bond/connection with Jonny Flynn.

And some nice highlights between him and Corey Brewer on the break.  Should be exciting.

I have the same feeling about him that I had about Rudy Gay coming out. Guys who seemingly have every single tool  to be great but in college lacked the assertiveness and killer instinct to be stars. Rudy has suprised me and really turned it on and become a great NBA player, will Wes as well, who knows we’ll have to wait and see. I do think he’s super talented and a prototype Small Forward physically and skills wise. I feel like he got too much hate in the process because he has been in college for 4 years and he was taken over Demarcus Cousins, but I really do think he will turn out into an extremely complete player.
