tuck243ParticipantIts been a while since I graced my presence on this site, BUT whats up???
No offense to anyone who have love for this draft class, BUT outside of Wall and Turner can you really say you will trade away some good players to get a pick to draft some of these bums??? Yes, bums… The worst position to draft is SF, but yet I still see A) RAW Athletic Players B) Slow bums high on draft boards. This is the draft that you draft on potential and that alone BUT not at SF… Luke Babbit??? Really? Who can this bum guard? Paul George? Gordon Hayward? Al-Farouq? I just named 4 players who will NEVER touch All-Star status even if they max out their potential. Freaking Adam Morrison have more upside (at this point) than these fools… They did nothing in college outside of Hayward, but do you really see him being any better than a Joe Alexander?
Just draft on potential and ONLY players that can create their own shots in this draft. I don’t even see quality role players honestly… Outside of the players that can play D, James, Bradley, Ebanks, Aldrich or players who have an unique skill set, Henry, Anderson, Lance, Monroe, I don’t see why I would be holding on to my pick at this point, I’ll rather trade for second rounders and next year… Don’t see a big difference from picking 9th or 40th…
I knew I had to say something when I saw Armon Johnson, Luke Babbit, Elliot Williams, Paul George, and Daniel Orton all getting taken in the 1st round… If you’re a team at the luxury tax line… TRADE your pick FAST!!!

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantonly a third of the class is worth a dam…to me it’s the role player draft even down to Wall and Turner…
Both guys are very good role players at best…
Wall being a no better than a Rondo type…15 points, 10 assist, and a few rebounds and steals per gm
And Turner having a career like Grant Hill and Scottie Pippen…Where he can be the best player on any team but will have greater success being the second guy next to a “Star”…
Cousins can be the best big to come along in a long time but his conditioning and attitude have to change before he gets the BUST label…
Favors is an athlete that better learn how to play Basketball…If he is super determined he can be great…If he dogs it…he’ll be a highlight dunk and 6 fouls in the NBA…we’ll say…man he could have been something…Last point…I am the only one who thinks the top 10 talents are
1.Evan Wall
2.Evan Turner…”The real 1”
3.Greg Monroe
4.DeMarcus Cousins
5.Xavier Henry
6.Wesley Johnson
7.Al Farouq Aminu
8.Pat Patterson
9.Derrick Favors

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantWall is better then Rondo now….How can’t he be better?
I think Evan Turner will be a Joe Johnson type. Good but not a superstar.
Favors is a STUD. I say he could be a 18-10 guy in the NBA.
Monroe is Vlade Divac to me. I wouldn’t be suprised if he had a 19-10-5 season in his career
Cousins is good. I don’t think he’s a star but he’s good.

piratejpParticipantIf Rondo develops even a half-way reliable jumpshot this offseason, he could be one of the top players in the league, period. I like Wall a lot, but c’mon.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantWall won’t be in the playoffs for 2 to 3 years to even show us that he ain’t Rondo…but they are different players right now and in washington he’ll be the “MAN” and jack up shots and not have the leaders Rondo did to help him come along…If Arenas can take a lesser role as the off guard and they can trade Blacthe,Nick Young and McGee ala Big Al and Co. with the Celts for a star Forward like Bosh…they’ll be headed up in the world…

Michael.S.ParticipantThis is one deep draft class. Like 25 deep with good NBA players with a handful of stars

tuck243ParticipantJammin-Lemon’s
A deep draft class??? What? I haven’t seen so many non-factors in college getting drafted so high…
