When it comes to teams that you look to make runs during march madness you want teams who have been tested in the regular season, have proven they can beat the best, and plays great defense.  When I look at this team I see all 3 of those things.  Especially with how they performed prior to this season in the last March Madness, I would not at all be surprised if they made a run to the Final Four.

  The only thing that I see of them that could prevent them from making a run is that they don’t really have a go to guy that can get them any easy baskets.  The closest thing they have to that is Michael Snaer who is as clutch as they come but he doesnt have much of an off-the-dribble game.

All I’m saying is this team seems primed to make a run.  Do any of you think another team could make a run who is outside the top 15 in the rankings?  Discuss..

 Although barely outside of the top 15 i can see florida making a deep run. I always think the ncaa tournament revolves around good guard play and Florida definitely has the potential for one of the best backcourts in the country. If Walker and Boynton can penetrate and finish at the bucket, Beal starts hitting shots like hes supposed to, and patric young plays a similar role to oriakhi did last year during uconns run, i think they could be primed for a deep run.

I’m biased but they have been playing very good lately. They have a very good backcourt, with one of the best players in the nation in Barton. And even though they dont have a lot of depth in the frontcourt, they do have one very good big man in Tarik Black. If he can stay out of foul trouble I think they can go deep in the tournament. Also rumor has it that Adonis Thomas will be returning soon.

They will do well because they have very good bigs and a ton of depth not to mention their insane defense.  They are a final four sleeper of mine but I think Elite 8 is more reasonable.
